Competent and friendly. Very direct with excellent advice. I want a referral here for my wife.

I appreciated his bedside manner and he was quick and efficient while asking thoughtful questions. He had to move quickly because the procedure was painful, but I would have appreciated just a bit more information on what he was doing as he was doing it (e.g. inserting the instrument to hold tissue open)

Saw Dr Caton 2x and both times I left feeling less than satisfied. Don't feel that he was interested in what I had to say.

A Specialist such as this should be prepared at the time of the appointment . All the advance sent records and imaging had not been reviewed prior to my Appt! Perhaps some idea of my medical issues of why body swelling , why disabling Gastro issues, why life impairing pain , how or could prior surgeries , mesh , be causing such horrible pain, and what type of solution i.e. treatment, advice, surgery , any recommendations? the X-rays ? Never looked at the X-rays .

I had a Laparoscopic Resection Rectopexy for rectal prolapase and a herinia repair. I hate he moved but he is such a caring doctor i might have to travel for my checkupd.

My experience with Dr Caton has been most satisfying. He took time to explain my surgery and also my recovery. He drew diagrams to help me understand better the procedure. I developed a trust in him within a couple of office visits. I would highly recommend him. His staff is friendly compassionate and easy to talk to. I always look forward to seeing them at my next appointments.

Dr. Caton is new to Asheville , and his office is on the Mission Campus. He is very skilled and experienced ,and most importantly has compassion and interest in meeting the needs of a patient that has come his way due to pain and life altering changes in their body. He takes time to hear your story, examine you, and carefully considers and discusses what is needed to help and heal. Super grateful that I was referred to him.... options and
