Dr. Geoffrey D Archibald

My experience was awful beginning to end. He over sedated and most importantly filled 3 cavities on the WRONG SIDE of my mouth. He did not refer to my chart. Went of memory after 6 months earlier consultation. Find a professional please. Something is off here.

I love going to North Branch Dental and taking my children there as well. Every time we have been, the whole experience has been positive from the moment we step in the front door. I am always greeted in a friendly manner and my appointments have been on schedule. The hygienists have gone above and beyond. They are not only very thorough and gentle on my tender gums and answer my questions to my satisfaction, and are always very friendly and professional. I am giving Dr. Archibald a 5-star rating because he is a personable, professional and knowledgeable dentist. He explains procedures in a way that I can understand and that puts my children at ease. And that’s saying something because one of my children has had major anxiety surrounding past dental experiences in an out-of-state clinic. She feels confident and comfortable with her dental care with Dr. Archibald and North Branch Dental. I would highly recommend him to anyone, young or old!

Over the years I've visited many dental clinics and let tell you, North Branch Dental provides outstanding service. Dr. Archibald takes all the steps to make you feel at ease and explains your treatment very well. The hygienists and assistants are the best in what they do, everyone else in the staff is very friendly and helpful, they worked with me to figure out my insurance benefits. I totally recommend them, they are simply a ”top-notch” clinic in the North Branch area.

I live in the north suburbs and was given a recommendation to visit Dr. Archibald. I thought, geez, that's quite a drive up to North Branch - but I decided to make the trek. I had a tooth that broke in half. Dr. A shaved it down and prepped it. He then took me to see the machine that would craft the new tooth. He put some kind of porcelain cube into the machine and then it spit out a fake tooth that was perfectly molded to my nub. The whole procedure was painless (hard to believe), quick, and I've had no complications or complaints since. I've since made the trip back up and look at it as a good investment of time. I've been to a number of dentists and offices in my 44 years. I have been more pleased at North Branch dental than any other.

I have four kids and the youngest had some major anxieties about having people touch his mouth due to some major dental work that needed to be done. However, Dr. Archibald was able to keep my son calm through the process of sedating him to complete the major work. Then he and his dental assistant were excellent at helping him adjust when the sedation was over. The work done was excellent. Follow up visits have proved that the work done is still excellent and I am so happy that we have been able to get him back to a healthy mouth. My there older children have also been served well. They never had major issues. I have received a couple of partial crowns that were well fitted by Dr. Archibald and his dental assistant and dental hygienists have done a great job over the years helping me keep my teeth from deteriorating. My husband, who seems to never get a cavity also appreciates the great care provided by the staff.

I believe this doctor has good intentions and it's overall a very good person. The reason I gave this a one-star review is this doctor owns North Branch Dental in North Branch Minnesota. the office does not treat its employees very well. They constantly change policies to strip the employees of earned PTO and other important benefits. in my personal dental experience I had a root canal performed here and for the record, it was not done by this doctor. It was done by another doctor at North Branch Dental. It was the most painful experience I have ever had. It felt like the dentist was putting needles into the bone above my tooth. I had a root canal done before add another dental office and it was not painful. So my review is, good doctor, office has room for improvement, and better pain management for root canals.
