Dr. Geoffrey Michael Burns, M.D., FAAFP, MD

Dr Burns is the kindest, most patient, and brilliant physician I've ever encountered, and I am very fortunate to have been under his care, these past seven years. I would recommend him to anyone-- he makes me feel heard, and helps me feel pro-active about my health. Thank goodness for his compassion and expertise.

Smug, self-satisfied, close-minded, intolerant, coarse, and everything that's broken and wrong with modern medicine. He cursed at me and called me names almost as soon as I became a concierge patient of his. Today in the middle of our appointment he said he's chosen to "fire [me]" (as if I were on his payroll rather than the other way around) because, in his mistaken view, I had filled in part of a rough draft of a form incorrectly. His former partner at the practice, Dr. Michelle Master, was in some ways even worse. The staff are incompetent, rude, and uncaring. Keep away from Renaissance Family Medicine. They will take your money and then make you work for them and make your health worse rather than better.

He doesn't pay attention to the patient, only the computer.

Dr.Burns is the most Knowledgeable and inteligent Doctor I have even gone to. I am 52 years old and have lived for in NYC for many years and before that in the Uk, but I’m originally from South America. Most of my life I have suffered with “undiagnosed digestive issues”, pains and other symptoms which Dr, Burns was able to diagnose and treat. My life now is so much better because of him.

I moved to USA as a teen and was so lucky to meet Dr. Burns. He is very highly intelligent; caring and practical. He spends a ton of time to understand my issues. Then discusses the options and provides optimal solutions. When I was a baby another doctor saved my life. But that was long ago and now I am lucky to know Dr. Burns who provides the best quality of help. Last year I moved 65 miles away but it is *well* worth the drive so see him. Good man; good doctor and the way all doctors should be. Dr. Burns restores my faith in the goodness of humans.

Our kid is a freshman at a local college. Dr. Burns has been assigned to him by our insurance. I have spoken to a receptionist in October, who said that Dr.Burns was taking new patients. She had never mentioned that we had to register with him or do anything. Now, she is telling me in a nice away that they are not taking new patients, "go away and never come back". IMO,it is her fault that she did not tell the possible prospects about a need to register.

Wonderful primary care physician! We just moved to Boston and tried a few doctors. We won't go anywhere else!

Dr Burns is one of the most caring MD's I have had in years. This Doctor pays attention to every matter history. He follows up on important issues like no other I have had. Caring, kind and thorough is the only way I can describe him!

I've been a patient with Dr. Burns for atleast 10 yrs he's the only doctor that's been able to find what was wrong with me after seeing many specialists I was shocked that no one contacted me of his new practice I'm hoping now that I've located him he'll continue having me as a patient I can get my trigger point injections also able to have him when I'm sick. He takes the time to listen to his patients and doesn't talk down to them Anyone who has him for a physician is truly lucky.

Dr Burns is awesome. He takes the time with people and shows he cares. You can even discuss alternative methods and nutrition with him and he is very knowledgeable about it, not like a lot of doctors I have spoken with.
