Dr. Geoffrey Martin Habershaw, MD

Dr. Habershaw was friendly and pleasant, but immediately brushed off my concerns and told me that my toe was fine, despite being tender, red, and inflamed. He didn't seem to believe me that the original injury was over a year before that and that I had not re-injured it recently. My entire appointment was about five minutes long and a waste of time and money. He did not suggest an x-ray or any treatment at all. Two weeks later my toe had gotten much worse and it was painful to walk. Five minutes of Googling told me it was paronychia, a common infection around toenails and fingernails. An urgent care general physician, who is not a specialist, immediately diagnosed it as such, ran an x-ray, prescribed me antibiotics, and recommended me to specialists at Mt Auburn Hospital. I won't ever go back to this podiatry department in the future.
