I didnt have an appointment and just was lucky that I went on one of the two days the Dr. was in. Even though they were completely booked, after asking me what my problem was, I was allowed to wait with a guarantee of being seen but not a guarantee on how long the wait would be, which was fair enough for me. As I waited, I overheard the front desk ACTUALLY calling patients to come in early for thier appointments, if possable, because "They were running AHEAD of schedule"! I have NEVER heard of this being done in any Dr.'s office!!! I waited only 30 mins. after the Dr. arrived to be seen. I was in shock of this since I have litterally had been on time to actual appointments at other offices and still made to wait over an hour. Then came the awe when I met Dr. Pollack. He was funny, charming and put me at ease. I didnt feel like just another number, I felt like a patient in need of medical attention and received it. I usually do not go back for follow ups but I am looking forward to… this one.

My ten year old son is a complicated case with a significant medical history, including autism and seizure disorder also complicated by RSD - Dr. Pollack diagnosed my son after doctors had missed, with Sphenoid sinus disease, causing my son years of fatigue and raging headaches. He is a wonderful, caring, humble doctor with a TERRIFIC staff surrounding him both in his office and at St. Luke's in NYC - after being in numerous places for my son's care from Boston to CHOP, Dr. Pollack and St. Luke's gave my son the special individualized care he so needed. Dr. Pollack is smart, caring, not in a big rush like other doctors can be. He's thoughtful, thorough, a great diagnostician. I trust him completely.

Dr. Pollack is the best MD I know. He performed FEES sinus surgery on me ONLY after exhausting all least invasive treatments first. He dramatically changed my life for the better and I think that anyone who is under his care, is lucky, as they are in the best hands.
