I saw Dr. Saunders for a cyst removal. Very satisfied with overall experience and healing.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this man. He is unprofessional, nasty, ignorant I could go on. I wouldn't let this man near me if I was dying. What he wouldn't do for me another surgeon did with excellence. Maybe he should retire because he clearly doesn't care for patients.

Dr. Saunders reminds me of the doctors my mother used to talk about. He is very kind, extremely knowledgeable, and knows what he's doing. My family has been so blessed by him and his staff for many years.

I was admitted to the ER at BWMC with a bad gallbladder. It was so bad that the gallbladder was so inflamed it had bruised my liver. Dr. Saunders was my ultra sound and completed my emergency surgery. He is a very caring surgeon. This was my first time having surgery or even being sick (other than the flu or cold). I was terrified at the idea of having a surgery, especially an emergency surgery. Dr. Saunders calmly explained what would occur during my surgery and assured me that I would feel 100% better after the surgery. After surgery Dr. Saunders informed me that my gallbladder was necrotic (the tissue was dead) and it should have been taken out a year ago. I was at Harbor Hospital in the ER without insurance a year ago. The Dr. ordered an ultrasound and told me that I had gallstones, yet I was sent home with a diagnosis of gastroenteritis. I am so thankful that Dr. Saunders completed my surgery and made sure that I would be healthy in the future. Excellent surgeon who I… would recommend to anyone.

Allowed me to get prepared for the emergency surgery and explained what was to be done clearly.

First of all, let me say that the "professional staff" this doctor has are ill-equipped, rude, unfriendly women who need to be working as debt-collectors. Secondly, I was referred to this doctor by BWMC, and that was a MISTAKE. I called, they didnt have an appt to fit me in (ok i understand that) so they told me to meet him there on a day he does not have office hours?? And then, when I arrive with my newborn child, you don't even give me the common courtesy to tell me the doctor may not make this appointment.. you allow me to sit in the freaking office for a freaking HOUR before you call him and the receptionist says "Did you decide if you were going to be able to make this appointment or not?" EXCUSE ME?! Then they want me to reschedule for another day. Screw off! NEVER will I EVER suggest this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Saunders is an extremely hard working and dedicated surgeon. He was able to accurately assess my condition and perform the emergency surgery that I required. His calm demeanor was very helpful in getting me through a very difficult and painful experience. I would highly recommend him as a physician and surgeon.
