He found a way to fix my daughter's rare condition, Scimitar syndrome. He figured out a way when it looked like there was no way. We are so grateful! You'd never know at 3 years old she ever had a major heart problem at birth.

Dr Alfieris operated on my son when he was 3 days old and 11 months old. My son has a very complex CHD (HLHS) and we felt very secure with him in his care. He is an amazing surgeon, who is confident and awesome at what he does. He has an amazing team that became practically family by the time we went home. We felt comfortable going home because we were well trained in our son's care before we were able be to leave. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a surgeon for their child. He is amazing.

Dr. Alfieris performed open heart surgery on my daughter back in 2000. She was born with a congenital heart defect (VSD). It had to be surgically repaired and Dr. Alfieris was the best person for this surgery. Compared to many of his surgeries this one was considered minor but open heart surgery is always a daunting experience. His bedside manner and confidence in his skills are truly amazing and we are indebted to him for the life that our daughter is leading today. Thank you Dr. A ! I will never forget what you did for my daughter.

Our surgeon thought our daughters surgery too risky to perform himself. We were referred to Dr. A. Surgery went smooth...very quick and so good. We are so thankful for Dr. Alfieris. Well worth 3 weeks away from home!
