Dr. George William Bailey, MD

Dr. Bailey was great with my daughter and helped her to get better. Now a year and a half later he refuses to reopen her case. If you don't see him at least every 6 months, your case is closed. When my daughter needs him the most now he refuses. Not sure if it's about the money with him but it is completely wrong to turn a child away because they were better for a period of time. I think he forgot the doctors oath he took.

Dr. Bailey has seen my daughter for a year regarding depression and anxiety. He is not the kind of doctor who only wants to manage medication. He asks questions and gets involved in understanding her life experiences and treats her as an individual. He does not push to increase the dose when she has a spike of anxiety, in fact, he counsels her about how to cope with the situation. He strongly recommends seeing a counselor in addition to seeing him. He takes her situation seriously and gives us good information on how to proceed in various situations, including when and how to take further action when suicidal ideation was occurring. He asks her what her medications are every time she sees him in order to teach her to be involved with knowing about her own health. He respects her privacy. He is prompt. We never have to wait for our appointment time. The staff is courteous and professional.

He is takes the time to really talk to the patients and the parents. Ask all the right questions and does not waste time. The office staff is friendly. I have seen a great difference in my child in a short time and am very thankful.
