Dr. George Wall Bell, MD

Dr. Bell was my cardiologist while he was with Kaiser Permanente. Before and following my heart bypass surgery I felt that Dr. Bell went to great pains to make sure that the best arrangements were made for me and for my recuperation.

Splendid doctor. Very caring and compassionate.

I have been a patient of Virginia Heart for a number of years, My previous doctor with this group is no longer practicing and I was assigned to Dr. Bell, At our first meeting, I asked Dr. Bell about some test results and mentioned that I have preexisting condition. Dr. Bell asked me why I thought I had this condition? It is in my records, I realized that Dr. Bell failed to read my chart. At this point he became curt and said that I did not need to do any further testing even though another doctor in this practice advise me to do so. Our next few meetings were less than pleasant. When I complained and ask to see another doctor,Dr. Bell said I was a difficult and nasty patient and related that to the other doctors within this practice, as well as to my primary care doctor. My primary care has forwarded Dr Bell's comments and my record onto another cardiologist, who feels she would rather not see me. I do not want revenge or to sue Dr. Bell, I just prefer not to have anything to do with… him. Unfortunately, Dr. Bell seems determined to make things difficult for me.
