Dr. George Robert Beneke, MD

Provided good care for my father for a number of years scheduling biopsies when his PSA made significant jumps. Each was benign though my father continued regular 6 months checkups. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, despite a continued significant rise in his numbers, no biopsies were scheduled for 2 YEARS! Finally, when his PSA reached an outrageous 33, a biopsy was scheduled. The cancer was in all four quadrants and had spread beyond the prostate. Following radiation and seed implant, he was left with a suprapubic tube, an a very poor quality of life for the time he had remaining. My father put his faith in Dr. Beneke, did what he was supposed to do and kept all appointments, just to have his health and his life mismanaged. I don't know what was going on in Dr. Beneke's life during those TWO YEARS that caused him to change his attention to patient care, but I hope it was worth my father's life. He's a wonderfull doctor! He is very easy to understand and explains things to me in a way that I understand without alot of medical terminology.
