Dr. George John Bitar, MD

I have been working in a medical field for over 20 years and have very high standards when it comes to choosing a doctor especially when it comes to surgery or any aesthetic work. Dr. Bitar was recommended by a few friends of mine and the minute I walked into the office, I know this is the place. Everyone from the front desk, management, nurses and doctors were amazing. I knew exactly what I wanted and Dr.Bitar literally told me exactly what I was thinking. That determined my decision and I have zero regrets because results are absolutely amazing. Dr. Bitar is probably the busiest doctor I have ever met but not even once I felt that he wasn't paying attention to me or my questions were not answered. Kathy and Zineb are my favorite people in that practice. I call Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute my second home because they always make me feel like a family!

I have been a long time patient of Dr Bitar (Botox, liquid nose job, lip fillers, skin work) and I wouldn’t get any surgical procedure other than with him. He has a unique and honed eye for aesthetics that I trust because he has so much experience. He actually listens to you about your preferences even if they aren’t what is normally requested. Example: I like my top lip fuller than bottom and Dr Bitar explained the “golden ratio” and benefits of having a slightly smaller top lip. However he listened to me and took my esthetic preferences into his work and I’m thrilled with the outcome. Point being is that he is able to walk that very delicate balance of taking into account what you want with what can/should be done with your aesthetics. I recently had the non surgical nose job after he recommended it would benefit my profile and make my eyes pop. I finally did it and I’m thrilled - he knew a subtle change in my bridge/tip would make a huge difference. He is my go to surgeon for life… now.

Dr. Bitar = Dr. Confidence-Giver! I am forever grateful for the rhinoplasty he performed on me. Not only is Dr. Bitar one of Washington D.C.'s leading plastic surgeons, he is also one of the most genuinely caring and personable individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have referred multiple friends of mine to him and will continue to do so. He stays up to date with the industry's leading technologies and constantly is expanding his professional skillset to stay at the top of his profession. Check out his social media!! Seriously! I’ve received numerous procedures and have always been extremely happy with my results. I would recommend better screening of hiring staff as I found out one of their employees went into my medical records and disclosed my personal information to people it should not have been disclosed. Per the office manager the employee was reprimanded and let go, but that was it. I understand it wasn’t their fault, but at least compensate or offer something due to humiliation caused by their own employee. Due to that experience, I will not return as I do not trust their staff will be confidential with my records.

Had two procedures at one time. With the TT woke up to a vertical scar that was not discussed with me before the procedure. Also, TT wasn't done very tight and I still have loose skin around my abdomen. Before getting the BBL asked about putting fat in hips and he said no he couldn't do it. Then during a post op visit he said he could add more volume to the hips. I was presented with a quote that was nearly the same price as the original surgery, but I wasn't going to pay twice for something he didn't do right the first time. Currently searching for a doctor to fix the TT and BBL. Go somewhere else if you need either procedure done.

I have known Dr. Bitar for many years. He is very knowledgeable, honest in recommending the treatment you need and he is very friendly. His office in Fairfax is modern, upbeat. I was there recently to have a new consultation with him about some of my concerns and he was great in identifying what I needed to do. I came out feeling happy and satisfied. Whatever he does is very natural looking which I love. I have recommended him to my friends in the past and will do the same now. He is a great doctor.

I had 2 procedures with Dr. Bitar. My first procedure was done 13 years ago and I loved the result. I had a rhinoplasty and my nose looks very natural and not overdone. Dr. Bitar pays attention to detail and does what is best for the patient. I was so pleased with him as a doctor that I went back to him for another procedure in 2018. Again, Dr. Bitar took very good care of me. He completed the surgery with precision and again I look very natural. He is an amazing doctor and cares about his patients. I trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. He has very competent staff and they are wonderful to work with.

I cannot say enough positive things about Doctor Bitar. He performed a rhinoplasty revision for me about 2 years ago and the before and after care from Dr. Bitar and his team made me feel secure and comfortable at every stage of that procedure and recovery process. Plus, the results were so amazing that I was able to run a marathon 10 months after my surgery. At my one year follow-up, I booked another procedure and I experienced the same consistent and thorough care and amazing results. I came to doctor Bitar after a negative experience with another plastic surgeon, so I can honestly say that he is number one in my book for any sort of plastic or cosmetic surgery.

I have seen Dr. Bitar for several procedures and he has been nothing but amazing. I have been very happy with the results. He always take time with me and answers all my guestions and discusses any concerns I may have. He truly is a skilled surgeon and his staff is top notch. I would recommend him to anyone. My experience with him is he treats his patients like family.
