Saved My Life

Very disappointed in the treatment I received after being a patient for 5/6 years! In fact DR GEORGE BRIGHT lied to me and could not even look me in the face and tell me this lie! Then he yelled back and forth with an office personnel with other patients present very sensitive information. Dr George Bright also decided it would be a good idea to schedule both mine and my husbdjdd appts at the same time which meant that any issues that may be going on that my husband or I wanted to talk about we could not do so in private. This made for a very uncomfortable appointment each time when part of his services included time to discuss any issues at home or work etc.....very poor decision making for a doctor of his stature

Hello my name is Roger and I want to share what Dr.Bright did for me and my family. I have a auto ammune issue that cause me terrible amounts of pain & swelling that started nearly 10 years ago.for 3-5 years I was treated at uva and was cycled through procedures over & over with no cure ever found just massive doses of pain meds to the point of insanity it ruined my life and home life and I was about to lose my wife who I love dearly but by the grace of God I found Dr.Bright and through his program I regained my life and sanity.Dr.Bright was the last opportunity to get myself together before I lost it all. He was the only doctor to listen and help me when all others failed because my condition wasn't in a book or something they had ever heard of. For the past 3-4 years I have kept and maintained a happy healthy functioning personal & family life without hand fulls of pain meds everyday that almost destroyed everything thing I love and chairish.I owe my happiness and everything else to… Dr.Bright and his efforts for controlling my pain and making me whole again. Without his help I know that I couldn't be were I am at this point in life. thank you Dr.Bright...

Doctor Bright is a great doctor and an amazing person . Unfortunately some of his staff aren't so kind. If you need to get something done when you're not physically at the office it's probably going to take quite some time plus several phone calls and/or visits. I think that some staff may stereotype the kind of patients that Dr Bright treats and assumes they are dishonest people, not giving them the same courtesy as someone not dealing with an addiction .

He is an exceptional medical professional. He was the first to accurately diagnose my situation and provide a course of treatment consisting of medicine and counseling. He has earned my confidence and my respect. I have always been treated professionally and have had an excellent relationship with him and his staff. I highly recommend this practice.

Doctor Bright was the key to my sobriety. the big " Cat " from Texas helped me, and even more importantly my Father in my heroin abuse. when he told my father, "Unless you are absolutely positively sure he is not using, you must assume he is." There was no more enabling. As long as i live I'll never forget my trip to the Everglades. I'm heroin free since '02, and will be. Thanks Doc.

Dr.Bright is an exceptional doctor. he has helped me make many improvements in my life personally, professionally, and mentally. I feel privileged to be his patient. and to consider him a friend. I still visit him regularly. and hav future plans to happily do so in the future. Dr. Bright makes himself available 24/7 and treats me with respect. I would recommend him above all in his line of medicine.

Dr. Bright offered an alternative to pain management that has improved our lives and allowed us to live normal lives. He is always available to answer questions and discuss concerns/issues. The appointments with Dr. Bright are always informative and he spends an appropriate amount of time as needed. Thank you, Dr. Bright!!

Dr. Bright was a God send for my son. He saved his life. I know in my heart that my son would not be here today if it weren't for this man. We have to travel 3 and a half hours to see Dr. Bright and would be willing to travel twice that if necessary. Dr. Bright truly cares about each of his patients. We have been with him for approximately 20 years. It will be a sad day when Dr. Bright decides to retire. I've never met a Doctor like him. He is a wonderful man!

Dr. George M. Bright is an excellent physician. I have seen him for many years in relation to significant psychological difficulties, and he has been invaluable to me. As I have grown and my disabilities have evolved, Dr. Bright has guided me as if he had always been an old friend - of course, by now that is precisely what he has become. He is courteous, engaging, perceptive, and supportive. Dr. Bright aided me when no one else could and has been steadfast in his friendship and mission, offering encouragement and honesty when I needed them most. I don't know what my life would look like had I never met Dr. Bright, but if I could see that life, I know that I would not recognize myself. Thank you, Dr. Bright. You saved my life.
