Dr. George N Chamoun, MD

I was scheduled for surgery in less than a week and required a cardiac clearance. My regular doctor was away and friends recommended Dr Chamoun. I was very thoroughly examined and he also discussed my past illness as well as current condition. He asked me about what I knew about my medical issues and the different impacts they had on my current condition. He educated me on ways to manage my medicsl issues as well as pre and post surgical issues that would occur and what to watch and report on. He is very kind, gentle, and a great teacher. I learned things I should have known and he took enough time to answer my questions about everything! I recommend him to my friends. He is special.

Over a 10-month period, my mother saw many doctors who were unable to make a diagnosis. Within 10 minutes of her first visit to Dr. Chamoun, he had an idea of what we were dealing with. After 2 days in the hospital he made a diagnosis of a very rare disease. Other doctors were unfamiliar with it but Dr. Chamoun knew. He is a very nice man, kind, compassionate, available to meet with the patients family. I would tell anyone I know, without hesitation,to see him. Thank you Dr. Chamoun.

Dr chamoun is not only an excellent internist and cardiologist that I have followed him from practice to practice for the last 30 years. He has in my option extended himself in call personally when test results were abnormal and refeffed me to other physician who could address my issues. He has saved my life and quality of life numerous times. I cannot thank him enough for the care and concerned he ha extended to me.

I think that Dr. Chamoun is one of the best doctors that ever existed. He posesses vast knowledge of medicine, especially Cardiology, and makes an accurate diagnosis on the spot. He is compassionate, brilliant, always available for you and family, and very, very caring. He saved my firend's life, and he saved many, many lives with knowledge and grace. I will always think very highly of Dr. Chamoun and recommend him to everybody I know.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr Chamoun during my husband's stay at Lankenau. He is a very compassionate, caring, individual who was called in on my husband's care. Dr Chamoun gives very good advice and care to his patients. He has a holistic side to him in that he looks at the whole person. He is very knowledgeable about medicine and knows how to explain things so that the ordinary person can understand. He conferred with me when no one else would. Even after leaving the hospital while my husband was in a nursing rehab, he came to my aid. I was having problems reaching a doctor at the Lankenau hospital that was involved in my husband's care. I could not get through to this doctor and it was urgent. I called Dr Chamoun and he intervened by getting in touch with the doctor and retrieving the information that I needed. And he did this on his day off. I was so impressed with this man. God bless Dr Chamoun.
