Dr. George Tahon Chuang, DO

Dr. Chuang is not very informative, validating, or helpful in preventative and overall care. He routinely denied my requests for simple, cheap blood tests with no, or faulty, logic. He did not dig into my healthcare issues to seek answers. He actively dismissed ongoing issues. He has not been a good advocate as a healthcare provider and it really feels as though he is personally invested in Kaiser spending as little as possible on each patient, from blood tests to meds. That is generally a problem within Kaiser but he does this to an unusual level. He is also not very responsive overall. I highly recommend you seek another PCP as he is generally not helpful or invested in patient health.

Dr. Chuang was my and my husband's physician when we lived in Belmont. We liked him very much and trusted his judgement on our health. He listened to our concerns and put us at ease. We moved to the valley and miss seeing him. When I sent him a letter about my husband's brain cancer he called me with words of comfort even though we no longer were his patients. They were words from a compassionate friend and I'll never forget Dr. Chuang. More physicians should embrace their patients with their heart on their sleeve, like Dr. Chuang, my friend did for me.
