Dr. George Henry Collyer

Most holistic and knowledgable mental health care Dr I have ever worked with, and there have been quite a few. He’s provided me with clear diagnosis and consistently professional, gold-standard psychiatric support. Highly recommended.

Dr Collyer has been my Dr for 5+ years. He is highly skilled and pragmatic in his approach to both diagnosis and treatment. After years of misdiagnosis he has been a consistently professional, caring and patient partner in health care and helped me overcome some major barriers to living a happier life.

He repeats himself. This dr. Does not have knowledge of medication side effects. He hollers at his patients. He is rather creepy. Requires you to sit in his office and listen to him talk for 50 min. I left his office each visit in tears

Dr. George Collyer is consistently late. He threatens me to find another Psychiatrist when I speak my truth about my mental health needs. Its Dr. Collyers way or the highway! He obviously dont realize- i was never impressed with him. I need a professional safe expert care doctor and he is far from it! He forces you to pay for a 50minute appointment to listen to him, lecture, repeat himself and shame you! He raises his voice, he is curt, condescending and lacks professionalism. He prescribes meds so he can get kick backs. He minimizes your symptoms. I went to the emergency room several times because he prescribe meds that cause severe side effects that are life threatening. Then he told me to find a new doctor. I will happily. George Collyer is not competent compassionate or professional! Stay away from Dr. Collyer!

Hugely knowledgeable about brain neurology, excellent psychiatrist, diagnosed and treated conditions that have changed my life. After 20+ years of other mental health professionals failed to correctly identify these potentially life threatening , but completely treatable conditions, I can honestly say he has been a life-saver for me. Does medication management as well as psychotherapy.
