Dr. George Krueger Covert, MD

I have been using this clinic for over 3 years now and I have never actually seen the doctor. This is a very unprofessional atmosphere and this clinic does not care about it's patients. The office staff constantly refuses to call the pharmacy to have my scripts refilled, some of which I've been taking 9 years. When I call the office to get the issues sorted out, I am hung up on multiple times. Any time I've ever needed a referral to a specialist it has been an act of Congress to get one. During sick visits, they never have vaccines/injections on hand. I have to leave the clinic, drive to the pharmacy and pick up the immunization in a syringe, and drive back to the clinic for them to administer it. The front desk staff is extremely rude. I will not go back. I am currently searching for a new primary care doctor.

Very unprofessional practice Does not care for patients. Did not treat diabetes at all. Messed up prescriptions and specialist referrals.Sent the wrong insulin prescription to pharmacy causing me to run out of my insulin and have to visit emergency room for treatment. When calling to have issues corrected was spoken to very rude and hung up on multiple times. I do not recommend this clinic they will not listen or help you with disease or pain. Have torn ligaments and degenerative disc disease and no help with pain due to false negative on urine test because of other prescriptions. Refused to do a blood test after requesting or even acknowledge the other prescribed medications to cause this issue in first place.Will not go back.

I have been going to this doctor for over a year now and I have only actually seen the doctor 1 time, he is never there and the nurses all they do is write u out a prescription and don't even give u enough medicine to cover u for the month. Then when u request a refill its always some bull carp. I have severe chronic pain and only get medication to last for 1 week. I have requested to see the actual doctor several times and all I get is we don't know when he will be in.

My grand-daughter (3 yrs. old) fell and hurt her arm she was in so much pain she could not bend or straighten her arm. Her mother took her to the ER and Covert was on duty, he X-rayed her arm said she "Up-set it" give her some pain meds and sent her home... (I don't think "Up-set it" is any kind of diagnosis.) By the next morning her elbow was so swollen and the poor baby screamed every time she tried to move it. My daughter then took her to her family Dr., he looked at the SAME X-ray that Covert took. Said it was fractured and sent her to an Orthopedic Specialist that took several more X-rays and even showed us the break. She ended up with a cast for 4 wks. I wont even start on his "bed-side manner"

Dr. Covert does not have a very good bed side manner at all! He spoke to me in a simple demeaning tone, as if I were a horrible mother for not noticing my son's condition sooner. He did seem very knowledgeable and did agree that he should see a specialist because he was not a foot Dr and would not want to try to diagnose him. However I didn't appreciate his demeanor or his assumption of me as a person. He didn't even speak to my son to see how he was feeling. And also took what I said and amplified it. I said my son's foot was hurting, he told his nurse my son was in chronic pain? I would not recommend him to anyone. Thank goodness my children are not sickly and probably only have to see him once a year.
