Dr. George Denoto III, MD

When many Texas surgeons leaves you butchered, after many fail attempts, Dr. Denoto was very caring and attentive and listen, I can call him from Texas and let him know my situation and works with me.. I have been blessed to have him repair me, my family and friends have meet him and speak highly of his bed side manners!! I will always Travel to be repaired by him!!

One star is too many for George DeNoto! This man has no regard for the health, well-being and welfare of patients, and is a total con artist. Despite my severe intestinal hernia, I was left to suffer by Dr. DeNoto--after getting a horrid runaround, being discriminated against on the basis of my age, having disabilities that require reasonable accommodation, being on Medicaid (which DeNoto promises to take but then reneges, pocketing the money for the bogus consultation under false pretense), and for refusing to waive my right to healthcare privacy! As a condition for surgery, DeNoto illegally forces patients, or at least Medicaid patients, to sign a contract provision waiving all rights to the privacy of our medical records, allowing DeNoto and the Catholic Health System of LI to traffic, sell, re-transmit and share patients' private medical and personal information to third parties at will, whether medical or non-medical, and requires surgical patients to allow placement of… our private medical records and other personal information in third-party vendor databases! Forcing patients to relinquish their right to privacy under the threat of being denied treatment is against the law. When I explained to DeNoto that I had recently been victimized by a privacy breach and thus needed to have control of my medical records privacy, his response was to mock and insult me, and claim I was the only patient to ever refuse to accept the forced privacy waiver! DeNoto fails to respect patient disabilities brought to his attention, even something as serious as macular hemorrhaging and visual obstruction. DeNoto had an egomaniacal fascination with making me literally have to beg for care, only to renege on the promised surgical appointment, and dodge repeated requests for call back. His miserable assistant hung up on me twice, telling me it was "not (her) job" to resolve patient issues. The Catholic Health System DeNoto represents promises to treat patients with "heart" and "humanity." But DeNoto showed me neither. As a result, I was left in a horrible situation by this hateful doctor with a hernia condition so bad it has caused me to collapse in the street. DeNoto never followed up to see how I was doing or cared about repairing the hernia; instead, he treated me like dirt, and took a quick Medicaid payment for doing nothing. If you want a caring, honest doctor, this is not the one.

I am in complete shock about some of the negative reviews posted about this wonderful, caring, kind doctor... From the start when I first met him I was impressed with his demeanor, his knowledge and expertise at addressing my issues. He patiently sat with me and explained what needed to be done so that I would comprehend and I never had more trust in a doctor or faith in his ability to succeed in what he was setting out to do. I had my surgery in 2016 and I could have not been in the care of a more kind, compassionate, decent, devoted doctor & surgeon... there are not enough words to say regarding this doctor. He is the best of the best. Thank you so very much for taking excellent superb care of me and fixing my issues so I could have a pain-free existence.

I can't speak to his skill as a surgeon because he canceled multiple appointments with me at the last second without any regard to the fact that I was traveling from out of town to see him. He literally called me the same day on two separate occasions to cancel on me. This was after waiting over a month to see him on each of these two occasions.

This “doctor” only cares about $$, he claims to do procedures and collects $$, why do you think he is always changing hospitals? One day it will catch up to him. ??

Pushes you away at follow up visits

Dr donoto is an excellent surgeon, recommended by many, so i felt he was the best for my surgery. Dr donoto is an extremely compassionate man and i put my complete trust in him.

Excellent surgeon! His experience saved my husband from a much more invasive procedure at another hospital.

Operates without exploring other options Would never recommend this doctor

Operates before trying other options. When opportunity arises just puts a bag and does not complete surgery. This way he can operate again to remove the bag. Not honest with procedures performed to collect extra money from insurance company.
