Dr. Drugas performed hernia surgery on my young daughter. It went very well! After, he provided helpful information regarding post op care, and didn't just leave it all to the nurses to provide.

Dr. Drugas was on call post op for our son. He was very rude, condescending and missed that our sons incision was getting horribly infected. In fact, he was going to send us home. The new resident came in, pushed on our sons abdomen and the surgery site started to open up and ooze green/putrid fluid. He was taken back to OR that night for emergency surgery. Drugas needs to retire. He is even more cochy when residents/students are following him around. My son has seen many MDs in that department for multiple issues (Waldhousen, Sawin, Adam) all of them were great! He has had over 50 procedures and surgeries. Never had a complaint until Drugas saw him.

My son had surgery for Malrotation Volvus of the lower intestine. He was right on the ball when my son was brought in by ambulance. Told us that son was very sick and was about "2 hours away from meeting his maker". I will never forget those words. Dr. Drugas saved my son's life.

cut my sons liver during an operation, my son's liver bleed profusely. He ended up dying.
