Front office staff Sally is condescending and rude. Definitely would not recommend anyone going if she is the best they have at a children’s clinic. I am appalled at her attitude and tone towards potential patients. Very disappointed.

Dr Fain is homophobic and transphobic.

Dr. Fain is like a part of the family. He was my pediatrician and now is my two children’s pediatrician, he is a straightforward doctor who does not prescribe unnecessary medication to the child. He is a doctor that will make sure that the needs of the patients (not what the parent demands) is his first priority. Although I have seen some rather nasty remarks about him here, he is a wonderful caring doctor with a bit of a dry sense of humor. He is always looking out for the best interest of the child and truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Fain sees about 35 patients a day, so time a lot of time can't be wasted. He gets right to the point, does what he needs to do, and asks what he needs to know. Even so, Dr. Fain was very friendly. He doesn't pull any punches, and some might see that as being rude, but it's obvious that he cares about his kids and wants what is best for them. He teaches his patients' parents so that they can be self-reliant, and so they don't have to pay for an appointment every time there is a fever or a sniffle. For those people who say they did not accurately diagnose the problem, what medical school did you attend? Are you sure you didn't just want a quick fix like antibiotics (which does not work for everything and can cause more problems if used for the wrong thing), or were you scamming for drugs? He does not have patience for that.

Dr. Fain is one of the rudest doctors I've ever seen. Some may say he is straight forward, but to my son and I, he was very offensive and rude.

First off, when I asked if my son was up to date on his shots, Dr Fain indicated he did not have his shot records. I had to point out that all of my sons medical records were sent to his office and he should have them. He then looked through them and found he did have them. This tells me he did not look at a new patients previous history before seeing him. Second issue - received an invoice for an office visit we did not make. Scary right? When I called the office, the receptionist did not listen to what I was saying, and started bringing up names and saying stuff I did not say. When I got frustrated with her inability to focus on our conversation, she got defensive and started saying I was attacking her which is so not true. She told me someone would call me back tomorrow, but wouldn't give me her last name citing HIPPA, which is for patients, not employees. She felt that I should be empathizing with her since she was busy and was offended when I indicated that billing a patient who… wasn't even seen is scary, didid they pull the wrong chart entirely??? Staff was obviously not trained in customer service and hung up on me because I attacked her which is not true. My frustration was geared towards the incompentency of the staff and I got the feeling it is doubtful anyone was actually going to address my issue. Let's see how she reacts if she gets a bill that didn't belong to her and no one really thought it was an issue. I am seriously considering changing pediatricians because of this issue. I have NEVER received a medical bill that did not belong to me. I wonder what else they're messing up? Medical records????
