Dr. George Dempsy Foster, MD

I love Dr. Foster and have been seeing him for the last 10 years. However, his nurse CeCe (sp?) is so rude and looks forward to ruining your day, any chance she gets. I'm about 9 months pregnant but seriously considering changing doctors just so I never have to see her again.

This guy is as rude as they come. He talks down to his patients as if he is so much better than them and he is wasting his time. He even throws in insults to put the icing on the experience. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment compared to other offices. I've been in town for over 30 years and seen many doctors and he is by far the WORST!

Doesn't seem to want to take the time with patients. You are just another number. Pregnant so changing doctors. He and staff seem to be a mess.

Dr. Foster is a wonderful, he spends time with me and answer's all my questions. I would recommend everyone to schedule an appointment with him.

My excellent doctor left the country & this doctor was unfortunately covering for her. I had recently had surgery and was having extreme pain. He did not listen to a word I said, he did a very painful rectal exam after I told him there was a tear inside. He then got visibly annoyed that I was in pain. He told me there was nothing to be done. I cried in his office I was in so much pain. I got another appt with a specialists who confirmed my diagnoses & confirmed that he was absolutely incorrect in he examined me and treated me. His bedside manner is HORRIBLE. He was rude and poorly informed. He doesn't listen to you at all.

I've been seeing Dr. Foster for months from my first pregnancy (M/C) into my second and current pregnancy. He is a very caring and patient doctor and I trust his recommendations 100%. He spends time with you and makes you feel comfortable and addresses all questions. I couldn't have picked a better doctor. I have considered switching doctors MULTIPLE times and am currently considering it and here's why. Horizon Women's Health's FRONT office staff is absolutely HORRIBLE. You can NEVER get through to your doctor because they will refuse to let you speak with him and don't even count on speaking to the MA (Even if it's an emergency) because they will NOT let you speak to them either. They tell you "they don't answer calls when they're with patients leave a voice mail and they'll get back to you" (and you wont hear back same day) they will not physically walk over to the them and pass the message along and they will not let you wait on hold to speak to them. I have gone to the ER a few… times because I have been unable to get ahold of my doctor / MA. I don't even think the doctor is notified of my calling or concerns. The only way to speak with him is to make another appt (even if you were seen 2 days before and are calling about the same issue). The reception ladies up front will try to give you medical advice and have told me to do something then the doctor told me different. They don't have adequate training to be giving any sort of medical advice. They are the first people you encounter when you come in and/or call and they are the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. They make you feel like you're annoying them and speak to you in the rudest manner. I am stuck, the only reason I have stayed this long is because my doctor is amazing. Really wish he would practice elsewhere.

Dr. Foster is AMAZING!!!! He delivered my first son who is 5 months old now. My sisters dr was dr.turner who did not make it to her delivery and dr foster was the on call dr who delivered my nephew who I witnessed being born. So when I got pregnant i asked all 3 of my sisters how they felt about there drs. 2 of my sisters went to dr gatlin who is a butcher!!!! He walks In the delivery room and automatically gives you an episiotomy( I have proof of a video) he did that to both of my sisters. So of course I didn't want him!!! So my other sister told me to go see dr turner or dr foster! Since I met him and witnessed him delivering my nephew I went with him...plus I wasn't too fond of dr. Turner not delivering both of my sisters kids and the on call drs did instead of her. The man is wonderful!!! My son was almost 9lbs and he was truly trying to get him out without having to cut me, but he knew I would rip so he decided to give me an episiotomy. The office is nice, I've never waited more… than 10 minutes to be seen. He doesn't rush you, he answers all your questions. After my son was born I was very swollen when I got home from the hospital so we called the office and dr foster called me on his personal phone within minutes. I 100% recommend him !!!!

I was going to Dr. Foster at the Miller & Turner office for 8 and a half months of my prenatal care. Within a week from my due date he "left" the office. You spend months w/ a doctor that you finally feel comfortable with and they just leave w/o notice. It took forever to finally get comfortable with his awkwardness and lack of sincerity in his care then im left with an even worse doctor. Many may say that you should have sought a different doctor then but they didn't give me a choice in that office. They said the doctor i initially wanted to see there was booked so they said he would just be as good. A lot of doctors think they are better than the average person and that they're above any questions asked. I understand im only one patient and what i suggest will not matter but if you want good care, I suggest to go to someone who cares a little more.

Dr. Foster is a great doctor. He was fabulous when he deleivered my son. Very good bedside manner.

I have been to another gyno and didn't feel she really cared enough, i came to dr. foster he is amazing, I trust he very much. He is not extremely chatty but he's my doctor not my gal pal. he is always nice and answers any questions I have. I recommend him to everyone!
