Dr. George L Geisler IV, MD

Absolute worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in any medical professional in my lifetime. Talks down to you and God forbid if you don't agree 100 percent with him. His ego is unbelievable and he will let you to know it. Just awful in every way, stay away!

Dr Geisler treated not only me for a broken toe but my daughter separately for a cut on her eyebrow. He was thorough, knowledgeable and kind. He took his time and gave me information I needed. I felt taken care of and in good hands.

Tonight was a nightmare! I was in the ER at Saint Mary’s hospital with a friend. We saw doctor George Larry Gisler. After explaining to the doctor what happened, he did not even examine my friend. Dr. Gisler told us he did not care about what the injury is and he could do noting. He stated several times (raising his voice) “We can’t do anything here for you! Go see an orthopedic doctor. You need to ice it and take Anti-inflammatories and rest!”. We were concerned and needed answers but did not get anything. He continued to talk over us when we would try to speak only to say “I DONT CARE” to us again and again. We were shocked!!! We addressed the tension in the room in regards to his unprofessionalism. Dr. Geisler then walked out and had security waiting at the door. Again, we were shocked. We ended up leaving without any answers on my friends injury to his leg. Over all worse experience I’ve ever had at s hospital and with a doctor. I’ll ever go to Saint Mary’s again. Poor poor care,… bedside manors and over all lack of compassion for my friend. Someone need really address this doctors behavior do something about it.

I don’t even know where to begin here. I was under 21, I suffer from CVS and this man decided he would use his power to literally abuse and berate me in front of my own mother. At the time my flare ups were (and still are) treated with dilaudid, a strong painkiller that will stop my attacks. He was not keen on giving me a painkiller, which is honestly fine but he must be picking up a lot of social cues from the children he works with in the ER as he threw a temper tantrum during the examination. This man yelled at me causing me to have a panic attack. This man accused me of being a drug seeker. This man IGNORED a written letter from my GI stating my mother wrote it even after we urged him to call my doctors office to check that I am who I say I am. This man mocked and belittled my illness. I am 25 now and this man changed my view on doctors forever. I no longer trust them. I no longer view the ER as a place of safety. If he did not want to administer dilaudid, he could have… handled it like a professional instead of yelling at a 19 y/o kid. Good job, geisler! You’re a horrific doctor and a horrific man!
