Dr George Groff is the definition of bedside manner. He is just wonderful, makes you feel like your the only patient in the world. Take as much time with you as needed, never rushed.

Dr George Groff has been my doctor for 10 years. I actually look forward to my semi-annual doctor visits. How weird is that! He is easy to talk to and starts by asking me about work and recent vacations. He shares vacation stories when asked also. As far as my care: He orders blood work for me, and then he personally calls me with results after hours. I take prescription meds, and he tells me where I should get them (one is free at Publix). He told me about GoodRx.com. Look it up and start saving money. He recommended a good orthopedist and asks details about those office visits. In a kind and gentle manner, he suggests changes I should make, like taking more walks and consuming less sugar. He also acknowledges small successes, such as weight loss. When I see Dr George Groff, I feel like I'm seeing a friend.

My family had been seeing Dr. George for over 9 years. We had to get an exchange plan from BCBS GA because my husband has his own business. Tried to make an appt. for my daughter last week. Was informed by the office manager that Dr. Groff could not see my family anymore. They no longer accept exchange plans (Obamacare). I was all set to vote for Clinton, but my mind changed right then and there. Don't even think about calling his office if you have Obamacare.

My prior doctor retired and I had been shuffling from one horrible doctor to the next until someone recommended Dr. Groff. My 1st apt was today. His front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Groff spend over an hour with me going over my medical history, problems, prescriptions and was a great listener and answered all of my questions. He never made me feel rushed and it was great to have someone "listen" to me. His staff, Tammy and Elizabeth were awesome. They even gave me something that there isn't a prescription for - laughter! I give my entire visit today, Dr. Groff and all of his staff a solid 100 percent!

I have been going to him for years. He has a mostly new staff now and they are all terrible. The office manager has always been awful. His nurse his rude and can't even call in a prescription to the right drug store and then expects the patient to fix it. He never returns phone calls.

Dr. Groff's staff charged my family $275.00 for flu mist shots . I tried explaining to the head of billing that we were not informed of these charges ahead of time and would not have agreed to get flu mist if we had known. Even though I have great insurance that pays for the flu vaccination, the billing department miscoded the fees to my insurance carrier and refused to correct them even after Blue Cross said they would pay if the claim was corrected and resubmitted. The billing lady said she wouldn't do anything and would just report it to my credit rating and then hung up on me. We had been patients of Dr. Groff's for app. 5 years and were very disappointed we had to leave this practice.

Dr. George Groff is an excellent doctor with a caring manner. He takes the time to listen to you. My husband had been to several doctors who could not get his blood pressure regulated and Dr. Groff did and right away. We always feel better after seeing him!

Absolutely uncalled for comments from office manager. Discussed my childs record in front of patients in the waiting room. Wasted over 45 minutes sitting in the front office waiting for the doctor. Over booked and a lack of professionalism from most of the staff. Take your chance one this one. You might get them on a good day, but I'd venture to say probably not.
