Dr. George Matthew Hebdon, MD

I have seen Dr. Hepdon for thyroid issues and I liked him, unlike other people. He took the time to listen to what I had to say, and was reassuring and answered all my questions. He explained why he thought what he thought and took time with me, asking if I had any other questions. I have and will go back to seeing him.

I've been treated poorly by a lot of doctors, but meeting with Dr. Hebdon was perhaps the worst I have ever been treated by any person. Dr. Hebdon dismissed everything I was saying and expressing about myself and my medical history. Additionally, while in his office, I had a panic attack (due to an unrelated medication change) so significant that the fellow brought me a paper bag to breathe into. Despite the fact that I kept saying "I'm having a panic attack and I feel like I'm going to die," Dr. Hebdon repeatedly called me "emotional" and insisted my hyperventilation was merely a simple case of the hiccups. In reviewing my after care summary, I also noticed that the only two word mention of this incident was the condition in my record that read "crying, excessive." You, Dr. Hebdon, are the reason so many women are afraid of going to the doctor. You are a trash person and a trash doctor, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Difficult scheduling an appointment. Nurse was fabulous. Doctor assuring but extremely dismissive. Zero followup.

I went to him to find out what was going on with my thyroid because I was told it was cancer he seemed like he wanted to help the first couple if visits, he preformed two biopsies because the first one was inconclusive so they did another and charged full amount for their mess up and then when the biopsy came back negative they called and told me there was nothing they could do for me and i just had to live with my symptoms so in search of a new doctor
