I can't even believe these reviews!!!! All these bad reviews are all lies! this is a great OB/GYN Doctor. He is very smart and very nice. Bedside manners are great! I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't just give a prescription and not tell you what the test is for??? Come on now guys, seriously???? All these bad reviews must be because these patients didn't get what they wanted when they wanted it. I have been his patient for 13 years. As far as him having to leave for a delivery, WOULDN'T YOU WANT HIM TO ATTEND YOUR DELIVERY???? BABIES DON'T WAIT!!!! IT'S NOT HIS FAULT!!!!!! Maybe for those that want to see a doctor and not a midwife need to SPECIFY what type of provider they want to see. It's always quick and easy to blame others isn't it. I have never had a problem with the office staff. They are ALL great! Amber is super awesome too! One of the reviews says they came and they had to reschedule because no one called her and she rides the bus. Ok, how is that his fault that you had to… reschedule because a baby is ready to be born. Uuuhhh he is an OB/GYN and that's what they do, deliver babies! Babies DO NOT WAIT!!!! Maybe you should buy yourself a car so you don't have to ride the bus for 2 hours????? How about WORK so you can make some MONEY so you can buy yourself a CAR! Stop blaming others for your laziness! This practice is awesome and I'd recommend him to ANYONE!

After waiting over an hour at multiple appointments in the waiting room, I was 12 minutes late to ONE appointment and they made me reschedule. I will NOT be returning.

I had the worst experience of my life with them they have extremely irresponsible staff, I hope nobody has to go to see them even if they are dying. They didn't order the correct labs first time and then they never called me back to update me about my results and they lied again and again. I hope they get sued soon and this practice shuts down. They wasted my time and energy. I ended up going to my real dr and getting the labs done again.

I've been Dr. Henry's patient for over 15 years. I have never experienced any problems. During the course of 2 years I was experiencing problems and Dr. Henry insisted that I get a Hysterectomy, but I was bull headed and did not take his advice and of course during the course of the 2 years I got very ill. Finally I had the surgery this year and as Dr. Henry predicted I'm back to 100% in good health. Yes your wait time may be long but it is well worth it. He is a very busy doctor and has many PATIENTS! I have referred family and friends to Dr. Henry and all praise him. He is genuine and candid. We all take risk when we decide to become mothers - this even includes our health. I have two wonderful and heathly boys and yes I did have one miscarriage between the birth of both of them. But that is something our body has no control over or Dr. Henry it's all in Gods hands. Don't let these bad reviews and poor judgement of these people put a label on Dr. Henry. His smile reflects… his personality and his profession. The best of good health to all of you.

Was in the waiting room over an hour, then left in the exam room for another 25 minutes after the PA saw me. Some man, who later turned out to be Dr. Henry was frequently in the office area talking very loudly on a cell phone. The office staff were also carrying on loudly in an unprofessional manner. When he did see me, he began YELLING at me because he disagrees with the hormone therapy I'd had to handle my extreme peri-menopausal symptoms. He was RANTING about how Amish women don't get cervical cancer but nuns do!! (??!!) And practically said if I got breast cancer it was my own fault. This was all due to some endometrial thickening discovered on an ultrasound, which, thanks to his carrying on, I assumed indicated cervical cancer. He could not get the visualization instrument into my cervix, so said he needed to do a D&C. As we were discussing that, he was called out on a delivery and left abruptly. It took a few minutes for the nurse/PA to come in to explain where he'd… gone. I think I was in shock and actually agreed to set up the D&C with Dr. Henry. Later in the day, when I could think straight again, I decided that would be my last visit to the zoo he calls a doctor's office. My yearly check-ups had always been done by Amber, who I had assumed was a gynecologist. But when I reported the symptoms indicating an ultrasound was needed, she said I'd have to come back and see the doctor. Amber has always done a good job with me, but I do think I ought to have been informed that she wasn't actually a gynecologist.

I had a miscarriage a year ago and went to him to confirm it, He came into the room and started to congratulate my husband and I on our first child (was in 2nd tri), I was so overwhelmed with joy thinking that I lost our child and now everything was ok, just to find out that he didn't read my file and I actually did lose the baby, He left the room for 10 minutes and came NEVER APOLOGIZED but instead started making jokes as if nothing happened. I really don't remember much afterwards since I was so upset and crying. I've lost 3 more since then, he doesn't say that I'm high risk. I'm now 8.5 months pregnant, I've been seeing Dr. Henry (Don't know why I went back). I have yet to have an internal exam he says I don't need one. I was never informed about tests early on in my pregnancy to find out mental illness or anything of any kind. I also have to get a new kind of glucose test which I wasn't told (after taking off my work) that I had to fast for 12 hours and the test would take 4… hours!. I always end up waiting 45-1 hour with an appointment and always feel rushed and that I'm wasting his time when I actually am seen for the 5 minutes once he walks in. Every question I ever ask, he always laughs and tells me "Yea, that's normal" I would never recommend anyone to see this Doctor. I tried to change to a mid-wife there but they wouldn't let me. And couldn't go anywhere else because I couldn't afford it. Also I've shown up for appointments just to find out that he wasn't there and had to reschedule because no one ever called me to confirm the appointment or reschedule. Not having a car and having to take a bus that takes 2 hours to get there and scheduling off from work because of the incompetence is just not right. Yet another thing!! I have been double charged by his office numerous times, by his West Grove office and his Brandy-wine office, in fact I'm still trying to get some of the bills fixed because they filed it through my insurance and there's two different ID numbers he uses and they don't try to help resolve it there.

I waited in his office for over an hr and he didnt even apoligize for the wait.. Then the first thing he said to me was wow didnt u gain some weight since I last saw you and he was very open to telling the nurse with him all my prior problems, that to me are very private and personal. I didnt want this nurse or every nurse in his office my business!! Lastly of course Ive gained a little weight, I just had a baby! He was my dr the whole pregnancy but when it came time for delivery he was no where around which was disappointing to me since I had no idea he wasnt gonna deliver my baby! The midwife I had, Amber was awesome though and even though I met her only that day, she really did make me feel comfortable and I am glad she was there to deliver my daughter....

Dr. Henry is sadly lacking in intellectual curiosity. When I developed a condition during my pregnancy he did not know much about, rather than going to medical journals to educate himself about it, he showed me a half-page long magazine article about it and had to be convinced by other docs to take it seriously. He also assured me my twins wouldn't need the NICU if born after 35 weeks in an attempt to get us to deliver at his hospital. WRONG. They were in the NICU for almost a month. I totally regret having him for a doc and would have jumped ship early on if I could do it all over again.

The absolute worst situation could have been avoided, had proper protocol, standards of care and surgical technique been followed. Dr. Henry was more full of himself than his knowledge base should allow. Sterile technique was poor at best. He literally grabbed FISTFULLS OF MY WIFE'S TISSUE and ripped (not enlarged like others do, but he ripped with fists like he was tearing a phone book, tearing the wrong parts with careless technique)! He used the head suction 4 times (last I heard 1 time is the maximum per standards of care). Allowed 3 days of labor, CSection botched, this insane ripping continued at the abdominal incision (he made the incision too small), ripping at and macerating her tissue ensuring a MASSIVE ABDOMINAL INFECTION (1st year medical student material-cut, don't try to rip)! My wife had to be moved to a higher level of care-another hospital with competent physicians who couldn't believe their eyes (bruising all over her abdomen, brown pus pouring out of the incision… that popped opened on its own from all the bacteria in there). My wife is STILL hospitalized a week later, clinging to life, horribly ill due to this wild card who messed up my wife. Sterile technique? My wife is filled with pus and was horribly ill the NEXT DAY!Dr. Henry was throwing instruments like an immature 3 year old during the case (do you want your child born around an object throwing tantrum)? If you have a surgical patient with a temp well over 103, YOU ADMIT THE PATIENT, NOT SEND THEM HOME! Poor decisions may take my wife from me. Thanks a lot, Dr. Henry!We had to have her transferred to a higher level of care on the advice of another Dr who advised we get her away from Dr. Henry's practice, transfer he to a competent hospital with competent OBGYN's.
