Dr. George Robert Hvostik, MD

I have been seeing Dr Hvostik for many years since I was diagnosed with one kidney 15 years ago. My existing kidney has been failing and Dr Hvostik was always one step ahead. He always stared me in the right direction. I'm now on the kidney transplant list at 2 hospitals. His bedside manner is fantastic and he knows how to explain test results professionally and calming. I would recommend him to anyone who's in need of kidney care.

Doctor's bedside (office) manners are excellent

He treated my son for kidney disease for 3+ years. My son's kidney function decreased every 6 months. It was suggested when we first met the Dr. that a kidney biopsy would probably be needed and stated so at almost every appointment. He never did it. When kidney function was at 50% we went to Mayo. A biopsy was done immediately and the diagnosis was not good. Thankfully, my son is now on the proper medication and his loss of function has been halted.
