Dr. George Frazier Jackson III, MD

Dr Jackson is a phenomenal psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Other doctors threw medications at me for years and no healing occurred until I started working on medication re-evaluation and also doing psychotherapy. Dr Jackson was able to create a safe space while gently guiding me towards correcting negative patterns of behavior around self care, addiction, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. This work was painful but ultimately highly effective. I would recommend Dr Jackson to my fellow clinicians and to individuals seeking excellent psychiatric/psychotherapeutic treatment.

Dr. Jackson was literally saved my life. He has taught me so many skills to manage my own life. He has spend years with me with patients and understand. Recommended books and things that I can grow and learn more about myself. I absolutely enjoyed every Wednesday morning at 8am for years!!! He is compassionate, caring, understanding - honestly I could never say enough to explain what a wonderful person and doctor he is. Thank you George Jackson with all Sincerity Spongey!!!!!

Oh my goodness! Don't use this man. I have been going to psychiatrist's from the age of 16, I am 58. The man made me feel like trash. He is aloof and down right cold. I desperately needed meds during a major crisis and spoke with Dr Jackson and he said "No! I will not prescribe that " The major anxiety and stress brought on a flare up of my Arthritis, my whole body is still hurting. He didn't care one wit. I reported him to the head of staffing. I will be leaving reviews on social media sights so No One ever had to feed lesser of a human. Shame on you Dr Jackson.

I saw him twice this summer. The first visit he acted very concerned about my history, and my physicians intention was for him to do my meds, and a therapist help with my issues. He said he wanted to help with my therapy instead. Big mistake. My second visit I was blamed for my problems, and told to exercise and lose weight. My original diagnosis was bipolar or borderline personality disorder or both. My therapy lasted 30 minutes and then he told me I was done and opened the door for me to leave. He is a Jeckyl and Hyde as far as I’m concerned. Don’t go, unless you want to be traumatized even more

Dr Jackson completely berated my former doc and insisted I didn't need the 5 meds I was on. He would not recommend TMS and called it "snake oil" even though it's FDA approved and has helped thousands of patients with treatment resistant depression. I will never go back to him and never, ever refer anyone else to him.

He made me feel uncomfortable, asking way too personal and intrusive questions during our first visit and did not give me a chance to speak without interrupting me and abrasively asking me questions. I told him his foul language made me uncomfortable, yet he continued to curse during our visits, totally unnecessary. Made me feel like I had to adhere to want he wanted from me and I left every visit with a uneasy feeling. Asked for a letter of recommendation for an emotional support animal and he denied it, saying only "mentally handicapped" people need those and that I need to care for myself, not something else like a pet that would help with my depression and anxiety. I am now looking for another psychiatrist, someone with more compassion and sensitivity to their patient's trauma and emotions.

He never listened to my wife’s prior history and refused to refill any regimented medications she had been treated with for the past five years from a previous provider. Showed a lack of concern for any serious physical and mental withdrawals he was causing. It is shocking to me that he even has a license to practice. Surprised any clinic would hire this guy. Avoid him like the plague at all costs! He will only cause more damage...no help at all!!

I would avoid this man at all cost. He can make a grave condition much worse as he offers no care or help for a diagnosis. He makes false accusations and assumptions without pry knowledge or speaking to previous doctor. I feel he is not a reputable doctor and should not be in a position to work with people in any medical field. I would rate this man as a zero.

This so called doctor had a depressive presentation and at first I thought he was a depressed pt and was shocked to learn he was a doctor? He expects pt to go into most humiliating experiences in 2 minutes before establishing any trust, he made me feel scared and uncomfortable he was like speaking with the living dead no compassion he just wants to scare you and force female pts into submission with his contempt for pt. Find a different provider
