About Dr. Jacobs
EDUCATION AND CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Jacobs graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971 with a B.S. in Biology. He then entered U.S. Air Force pilot training, receiving his wings in 1972 and going on to serve as a jet instructor pilot at Columbus AFB, Mississippi until 1975. Dr. Jacobs then returned to school, graduating from
the University Of Mississippi School Of Dentistry in 1980.
As an adjunct to his practice in Mississippi, Dr. Jacobs served as a consultant providing dental care to special needs patients. This led to an interest in hospital based dentistry and eventually a return to Pennsylvania in 1986 as Director of Dental Services at Lock Haven Hospital. Although family and cosmetic dentistry are now his primary focus, Dr. Jacobs continues to serve special care patients through his surgical staff memberships at Evangelical and Sunbury hospitals. There patients referred from Selinsgrove Center, nursing homes, and the hospitals themselves may be …treated using general anesthesia in same-day surgical clinic.
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Dr. Jacobs’ personal interests include photography, model railroading, automobiles and spectating at auto races and football games. He and his wife Melissa, who serves as office manager, reside in Lewisburg with their two Bichon Frise dogs.
