Dr. George Henry Livermore III, MD

I think Dr. Livermore is Great because for a long time I have had some BAD ear aches. When I first went to him they did a hearing test on me and they found out that I had hearing loss. So far he has done my left ear and it is a lot better. Next month I have right done. I highly tell me people how good of a ENT doctor is.

My experience with the physician is that he is very disrespectful and very uncaring. I scheduled an appointment with the Ear, Nose and Throat Institute due to their positive reviews. The staff scheduled me with Dr. George Livermore. He entered my appointment drenched in cologne. As a patient, I have always considered doctor's offices to be a safe zone due to their professional mannerism of not wearing overwhelming fragrances that would cause a patient distress. Secondly, I felt confident that a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist with 30 plus years of experience would understand that patients who experience ENT problems mostly have allergies. At the beginning of the appointment he came in and closed the door. Please note that this doctor had adequate time to review my history and complaint concerning my ENT problems. I struggled to breathe and began to choke. He never asked if there was anything wrong. He ignored my coughing and struggle to breathe. I asked if he wore cologne everyday. He… stated, "WHAT WOULD YOU PREFER TO SMELL? MY BODY ODOR OR COLOGNE?!" I continued to cough and struggle to breathe. I moved toward the door and opened it. I continued to choke and he showed no concern for my well-being whatsoever. He continued to review my cat scan as if nothing was wrong. I went outside the office and stood in the hallway while continuing to cough and choke. Still no response or concern from the doctor. He finally said, "I will refer you to one of my colleagues; apparently I cannot help you." I left the office choking. I struggled to breathe as I went to the front desk to check out. The staff did not address the coughing or choking. No one offered me water or asked if they could help. I called my daughter and asked her to immediately return to the doctor's office because my inhaler was in our vehicle. I made my way outside the office hoping the fresh air would help. I continued to choke and ended up vomiting! A couple came out of the office and asked if they could help me. The lady stated she was a respiratory specialist. Her husband ran and got me water. The couple helped me until my daughter arrived. The office staff never came out to check on me. I felt like I was violated!!! This was the most horrific and lack of compassion a patient could have ever experienced.
