I have had an excellent result following cataract surgery and lens replacement by Dr. Mcmickle, going on three years now.

My mother had cataract surgery by him and it was perfect. I flew in and he did my left eye with the laser and Symfony lens. Mine is perfect too. I'm very happy and so is my mother. Thank you !

Dr. George McMickle is an experienced Opthamologist and I’ve trusted him for many years with my eye care. Recently he saved my vision with excellent diagnosis and immediate care. Dr. McMickle is the best! Gina manages pre-op and she is knowledgeable, patient, and extremely caring. She is absolutely wonderful! I guess good doctors attract the best personnel!

Dr. McMickle runs his office like a fine tuned machine. I remember my first office visit...I walked into to a full waiting room, standing room only (THAT was impressive on it's own). When I was called to the back, each procedure was set up (there were several tests ) waiting for me. By the time the tests were completed, I waited five minutes, tops. By the time I walked back to the waiting room, it was empty - AMAZING! I liked him right away, his bedside manner was friendly and professional. I have a condition that may require surgery one day, Dr. McMickle is the ONLY one I would trust with my eyes.

I did sooo much research & referral asking before deciding on Dr. McMickle. My eyes are gradually getting worse, but about 2 months ago my eye randomly started to get red (no other irritation, burning, watery eyes, etc), but then over the weekend (of course) I had intense pain on my eye lid and the pain was excruciating when I looked at things right in front of my eye. I went to urgent care and the doc there didn't know what it was (said it wasn't pink eye) but didn't know what it was. He told me to get into an eye doc right away. Even though I needed to get in asap I did a ton of research and wanted to see an ophthalmologist and not an optometrist. I spoke to my mom and she said that when my sister had an air bag deploy in her face during an accident when she was in elementary school that Dr. McMickle treated her and she is pretty sure that he is the only reason why she still has her sight. I'm pretty sure he was the main (emergency) eye trauma doc in the 90's/early 2000's which is… probably how he ended up treating my sis. Anyways, he diagnosed me with Iritis (which I have never heard of in my life) and gave me eye drops and I literally put 1 drop in my eye and woke up the next morning 95% better. I went back for a follow up and and he was very thorough and answered all my questions. I also asked him if I could have my exam for my new eye glass prescription then so I wouldn't have to leave work again to come back for that and he took care of it during my follow up appointment and I about corrective eye surgery and he also took care of some exam stuff for that. He is so knowledgeable and explains everything. I saw someone complain about the wait time, but when you do get back to see him he is very thorough so its WORTH it!

Dr McMickle did an awesome job on my cataract surgery that I flew in for. I used to live in Vegas and moved away, but I came back to have him do my surgery and I am glad I did. He used the laser and a toric lens. I am extremely happy with my vision !!!!.

Dr. McMickle is a fantastic doctor, restored my sight back to what it was when I was 16!! His girl Gina is also absolutely the best technician! Everytime I go in there I would really like to only get Gina, but when I'm sitting in the waiting room and I talk to other patients they all want Gina too so I don't say anything since she looks so busy anyway. But when she calls my name I'm so relieved its her and not the guy technician Steve. I'm sorry to say I just don't like the way he does the job, like there is something always missing and he's slow. The doctor was great, one doctor had me so worked up thinking I had glaucoma, and he put me right at ease. Wow, I have recommended him to all my friends. Thanks Doctor & Gina
