Dr. George C Mejicano, MD

My primary care doc referred me to Dr. Mejicano after I had seen the local internal medicine specialist and had been ill for over a year. I had an intermittent fever, extreme fatigue, and overall edema. Dr. Mejicano was extremely thorough, always spent enough time with me to answer my questions, consulted with other specialists to try to figure out what was wrong, and was also emotionally supportive during this whole time, which was almost 2 years. It turned out I had an atypical presentation of Multiple Sclerosis, which was promptly diagnosed once I had some neurological symptoms. Everything else had pretty much been ruled out by then, thanks to Dr. Mejicano's thoroughness. I will be forever grateful to him for his compassionate, excellent care.

Wow, didn't listen to me at all. Talked the whole time about how awesome he his, which clearly, he is not.
