Dr. George Edward Mimari, MD

I have never experienced a doctors office that was this incompetent. I called their office four times and my GP's office called multiple times as well to try to make an appointment. The person who answers the phone can't make an appointment nor can she even see the schedule. Not sure what the point of her job is but she took down my information each time and told me I would be receiving a call soon. I NEVER got a call back. Then my GP's office told me that I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Mimari for a certain day. Well that was news to me considering I couldn't even talk to anyone about scheduling and appointment. So I called the office and asked when this supposed appointment was and the person who answers the phone couldn't tell me because she can't even see that information. Oh but she would have someone call me back. I never received that call. I cannot think of a more frustrating experience. If they do not have the decency to call back referrals to their office who are… desperately waiting for an appointment I cannot imagine what it would be like if you needed any assistance after an operation. What a joke.

Finally got to see the doctor. He was terrific!!! Quickly diagnosed the problem and surgery was to be performed. Office staff seems to be short on people with one woman handling it all very poorly on the day we were there. On the day before the surgery we called to get the time and could not get to anyone, just an answering machine-all day. Called the hospital who could find no surgery scheduled for the next day. We called another doctor who knew Dr. Mimari and asked him if he had a number for us to reach him on other than the office. He said he would contact Dr. Mimari - he called us right after that and somehow we got the date and time straightened out. We were very tempted to start over elsewhere. It was good that we didn't because the surgery could not have been better.
