Dr. Patounakis and his staff were amazing! We transferred to their care after being unsatisfied with another local IVF specialist. In contrast they were compassionate and seemed to genuinely care about each patient as an individual not as a number and finances. They were also very responsive to phone calls and emails. I would highly recommend him and his team.

RMA of Lake Mary Florida is a dream come true. I have been a patient of two other large fertility clinics in Central Fl where I felt like I was on a conveyer belt. It felt very impersonable, and I didn’t always see my doctor with each visit and treatment. At RMA, every staff member I have come across provided excellent care and customer service, from the front desk, to the IVF coordinator, to the insurance specialist. The financial office worked tirelessly with my insurance to provide them with all the documents requested and all the hoops they made us jump through to get it approved, and she was reassuring and communicative in every step of the way. Every person who was a part of my care was caring and compassionate, as well as knowledgeable and attentive. Lab results were called back around the same time each day, phone calls were answered by a live person or voicemails would be returned promptly. Emails were replied back very quickly. The office staff made you feel like you were a… VIP client and they weren’t doing anything beyond just being themselves and caring. The procedure for egg retrieval was fantastic. The anesthesiologist and the surgical team were just as caring and compassionate and knowledgeable. The lab technicians always had a smile on there face even at 6am. It felt like everyone enjoyed their jobs and it really put me at ease. Lastly, Dr Patounakis. He is the best doctor I’ve been to for ANYTHING. He is extremely knowledgeable, concise, great bedside manner, open and honest, and extremely reassuring. He did the egg retrieval and the embryo transfer, he did a few of the ultrasounds, and called me with results. After two terrible experiences with other fertility doctors in Central FL, I was extremely anxious, overwhelmed, and defeated by the time I found RMA. However, after the consult with Dr. P my partner and I walked out of there feeling empowered and knew we were in the right place and with the right physician. They are truly an asset and a blessing to the Central Florida area.

Dr. P is amazing. He had amazing bedside manner, is personable and actually makes you feel like you are his only patient. He worked hard with me and believe me, my case was a hard one. He never gave up, kept me hopeful. Dr. P called me personally with important updates after hours! In the 2 years I was there, I saw Dr. P all but 1 time. His staff is amazing and they take the time to get to know you. Sasha is amazing! I would definitely recommend RMA and Dr. P to anyone that is at any point of their fertility journey. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and it was bitter sweet leaving his office. Good luck ladies!

Dr. P and staff are the absolute best! They are so kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. You are treated as a patient not a number. Fertility issues are an uncomfortable matter but they make you feel right at home. The office is upscale and welcoming and they offer work friendly hours. Dr. P is involved in all the steps from bloodwork to scans to surgery, you will not find a more hands on provider.

Dr Patounakis is by far a special doctor. Working with him in regards to my husband and my fertility issues brought us the answers we sought for years. He gave us a real reason for our struggle. He is so kind and approachable, yet stern and intelligent. He has this assurance about him that makes me glad to visit the clinic. Above all things, he's gentle. He is the best phlebotomist EVER! He is so involved, and the entire staff is delightful. I've been to a lot of places, and RMA is a wonderful clinic. I am grateful to have them working on such delicate matters with me. Highly recommended!

Dr. Patounakis is a top notch physician. I have never been to a doctor that makes you genuinely feel like he cares for you and your success, and he does care. I actually look forward to going to my appointments and can talk to him like a friend. I appreciate that he is ALWAYS accessible. I highly recommend Dr. Patounakis for his outstanding knowledge, professionalism, passion, and compassion. I had been suffering from chronic pain for the past ten years in my pelvic area. When every other doctor failed to give me the time to understand my situation, diagnose the problem, perform the necessary tests needed to solve the issue or even treat me like a human not a number, Dr. Patounakis studied my case, requested a series of tests, gave me the time to discuss my symptoms until he reached a resolution. Thanks to his work eithics, I was able to keep my reproductive system and treat it for the real problem. Now I am pain free and my life is going back to normal. I cannot thank Dr. Patounakis enough. If you are looking for a physician to consult with for infertility, Dr. Patounakis is a must-see. Having tried two other fertility clinics before heading to RMA-FL, it was so refreshing to go to a physician who was involved with EVERY aspect of our care. At other clinics, it was rare to see the physician very often. At RMA, Dr. Patounakis has performed every ultrasound, made just about every phone call to my wife and I when needed, and has made himself available via phone and in person to discuss our care, walk us through clinical decisions, or just be a friend when needed. When going through such a difficult journey with infertility, it is such a welcomed relief to actually look forward to going to your appointments at RMA. The practice has a boutique-type feel to it, rather than a busy factory just pumping patients in and out like so many offices do nowadays. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgable, and there to help make dreams come true. For anyone even considering another… physician regarding infertility - please do yourself a favor and head to RMA first.
