I am extremely greatful for Dr. Rosenwasser,he performed a bi-lateral cornea transplant and cataract extraction for me, I couldn't be more satisfied with my vision, his expertise was evident at my first visit. Carol Kwiatkwski , Mt Carmel, Pa.

I know bedside manner isn’t all that matters but this Doctor had the worst I’ve seen and I’m a retired RN. He was in a rush, rude, brushed off my questions and though I have a very complicated history, never even glanced at my chart. Wishing I’d checked reviews before I saw him. A mistake I won’t make again.!

Outstanding Eye Doctor who is very knowledgeable. You only have 1 set of eyes. This is the only doctor I would have touch my eyes and preform any procedure on.

Had 2 surgeries, 2010 and 2011, both successful and doing well today (2017) my sight has been preserved and any wait time is well worth it!!

Know before you book an appointment what it will cost. My approximately twenty minute visit - approximately ten of which was spent with Dr. Rosenwasser - cost $655.00, to confirm what what I already knew and suggested surgery as remedy. Yes, $655.00.

He is so impressed with himself, he gets in his own way. After paying for postsurgical kit of glasses & eye patch (I have plenty of both), 90 days after surgery they wanted a $30 copay. My BC/BS has NO copay. The receptionist, office mgr, and DR all INSISTED. They did not look at MY card, but we looked at HIS, which has a $40 copay. How did they arrive at $30 since my policy has NO COPAY. It was a dark and rainy night, I had 1.5hr to travel and they kept me there!! So I paid to get OUT! They looked it up and sure enough I owed them nothing. I went back to Hershey Med Ctr to continue care for my corneal transplant. Never again!!

I have been taking my entire family to see him for the past 23 years. He is a remarkable man and physician. He saved my sons eye, when Wills Eye gave up on him. I have always found him genuinely caring and very patient. He has always answered by husbands questions, which tend to be the same question visit after visit, but he answers each time. My son has autism and he has been very caring and takes his time with him. The only fault I can find with his practice is the long wait time, but in my opinion he is the best in his field, in this area, so the wait is to be expected. Also I wish they would take my eldest son's state insurance, without it I unfortunately have to change doctors for him only. He has always referred us to other specialist as needed for their care, that he is unable to provide. I took my mother there and she loved him. I will continue to take my husband and youngest son there, I hope he never retires, because I will be lost without him. I recommend him… to anyone.

I am being treated by Hershey Med Ctr for an injured eye. Went to Rosenwasser for corneal transplant and lens implant. I am sure he did an excellent job. But after their attempts to juggled my surgery date, charged me a copay which I did not owe, detained me for several hours on a dark, rainy evening, brushed off my questions, I will continue my follow up care with Hershey. The administrative practices at Central Pa Eye Institute seemed a bit shady on the copay issue. I didn't have one, but they knew an amount...

He knows what he is doing. Very professional kind friendly. I had eye surgery last week and im doing really good. I have no problem waiting some minutes in every appointment. I understand he is busy. Great eye doctor ever.

I've been going to Dr. Rosenwasser for about 5 or 6 years now. He is very personable and patient and answers any questions I have. He is an excellent surgeon and although he's extremely busy, I feel he usually takes a fairly decent amount of time with me during my semi-annual exams.
