Dr. George Panagiotis Roussis, MD

He is the BEST! Very professional and all of his staff is nice and you can tell they really care about the patients.

Dr. George is by far the greatest pediatrician in Staten Island. He genuinely cares about each of his patients and their families. He makes children feel important, cared about and explains to the older children what he is doing. Most times, pediatricians direct all conversation to the parent, but not Dr. George. He understands on a deeper level how children should be treated. We love his office, staff and care.

I had a really bad experience with the first doctor I used when my daughter was first born, I got a referral by a family member to use dr. Roussis, at first I loved them everything was great he was really laid back so it calmed me down but as time went on him being laid back was something that grew to be terrible. My daughter was sick with a virus followed by an ear infection not even days later. I had to call his service for advice on how to keep her comfortable with a virus, ear infection and 103 fever, no call back. I called the office the following Monday and he told me it's just a virus she's fine, I took her in any way only to discover I was right about the ear infection. Her ear infection came back 2 months later and same thing no call back until I called again upset about not hearing from him, I finally switched doctors and couldn't be happier with the care and attention my daughter is receiving. The staff however I think is wonderful. He also never once followed up with me to… see how she was feeling and I felt very rushed during visits. He always seemed like he just wanted to get out of there. For first time mothers especially I would not recommend.

We have been using Dr. George for 3 years now. Very professional and great bedside manner. My son loves him. Dr. George suggested we go for further testing at NY Eye & Ear hospital when my infant failed his hearing screen both at the hospital & at Dr. George's office. He also did testing for my older son when I brought him in with a rash. I would most definitely recommend this pediatrician, and trust him with my children.

I don't recommend any of the brothers. The bad reviews are correct. If you are late, try to find another doctor as fast as you can, otherwise you will be in God's hands. That's all I can say!

I have to set the record straight and prevent anyone else from being ripped off. Dr. George Rousis gained our trust through a referral, but we learned the hard way that his practice is not as trustworthy as first perceived. He visited our baby in the hospital to do a check-up which took less than five minutes from start to finish. He did not charge our quality insurance and demanded cash only. We were forced to pay $1,000 dollars CASH for a 5 minute visit. Be forewarned, if you are not 100% that your insurance will cover the cost then use another doctor because the corruption at the doctor-level is ruining our healthcare system.

Dr. Roussis is a caring, friendly doctor who my children are very fond of. They are never afraid to go to visit him. He takes his time with each child and is always there by phone if the office is closed and you need to get in touch with him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

Dr. Roussis has been taking care of my 5 children for the past 10 years. Having 5 children I have experienced many pediatricians and Dr. George is absolutely the best! He is caring, friendly, has a good relationship with his patients, and above all is BRILLIANT! His medical expertise has resulted in quick, accurate, diagnosis leading to time sensitive treatment and speedy recovery!! The confidence I have in Dr. George has never been questioned. I trust my children's health in his hands!!!

Please stay away from this doctor. His staff is extremely unhelpful and rude on top of that this doctor did not follow up with my child's condition at all. I am very disappointed. All the good reviews are submitted by his staff that's trying to perk up the ratings.
