Dr. George Samman, MD

George Samman actually delivered me, which is how I ended up seeing him in a time of need. I appreciate him getting me into this world safely after having had the cord around my neck. My mother still has high praises for him. I, personally, did not have the same experience. 12 years later at 132 am I am up still traumatized by the things that were said during my one and only visit with him. I have been miserable and insecure over something that he really should have had better bedside manner for. Maybe an older generation is ok with the way he "jokes" or feels the need to impose his personal experiences onto minority women, but he really made a scary time in my life worse than it needed to be. I have been self-conscious regarding my body and sexuality to the point of depression, attempted suicide and continuous therapy. One moment in my life - in this office - could've made a difference. I have overcome so much, but the little things still carry on with a person.

Dr. Samman is very friendly and gave a thorough explanation of OBGYN stuff. However, things at his office could be improved. I signed up for 11 AM appointment and I came at 10:45, however, I did not get to see him until around 12. His practice also does not have a good online infrastructure if you need to access your record so you have to call them back and forth. The Dr himself says "If you don't get a call that means there is nothing wrong with your result". A week after my visit I called to ask about the result of my pap-smear (because of course you always want to verify) and the lady I talked to told me she was going to call back because they were really busy at the time. A month and a half later, still no call. I had to make the call. Glad the result was negative. This office is not suitable for women who like modernized IT infrastructure and timeliness when it comes to healthcare.

I LOVE Doctor Samman. I lucked up while looking through my insurance directory over 25 years ago to find an OBGYN Doctor. I just chose a Doctor that accepted my insurance and was metro accessible. Of all the doctor's I have been to in my 46 years here on this earth, including dentist, I have never encountered a physician that has been as personable, kind, patient, concerned, professional and understanding as Doctor Samman. Of the hundreds and that is a guess, of patients that he may have, I always feel like I am the only one when I have an appointment. I always feel comfortable and can discuss anything with him. I dreeeeeeeed the day that he will say i am retiring, (SELFISH ME). Anyway, Thank you Doctor Samman for being such a WONDERFUL person and doctor, you are SIMPLY THE BEST!

Dr. Samman is Simply The Best, Gently, Kind and very caring. Been a patient for over 20 years!

I just had my last visit with Dr. Samman since I decided to deliver my baby in my home country ( South Africa). he has been so great. he is so caring and thoughtful, very respectful person. He is also very knowlegeable and i gues it comes with experience.

Overall great experience! Felt I was with a doctor I can trust. I really appreciated how he takes the time to explain everything to me.

It is so hard now a days to find an experienced Doctor who still has the passion for what they do and the people they help. I found that in Dr. Samman and my family and myself have grown to love him. He pulled me and my family thru what could have otherwise been a tragic event and delivered our son safely. He is informative, professional, and caring. There aren't enough words to explain this doctor except to say that if you choose Dr.Samman to be your dr you will not regret it. His staff is amazing as well. He has a loyal patient in me and my husband and I only hope that he is still practicing when we decide to have another child.

Dr. Samman is a great OB/Gyn. I have been having fertility problems which is already stressful. I have been to many doctors who are "supposed" to be the best but were very cold and uncaring. Dr. Samman is patient and answers as many questions as I can think of. He is great!

LOVE THIS MAN!!!.HE IS VERY GENTLE AND UNDERSTANDING,WHICH ALL WOMEN KNOW IS HARD TO FIND IN THIS PRACTICE HE DELIVERED MY SON AND WAS ABLE TO MAKE MY LABOR EASY.I WAS SICK THE WHOLE 40 WKS AND HE KEPT A CLOSE WATCH OVER ME. NEVER ONCE DID I FEEL LIKE HE HAD ANOTHER PATIENT OTHER THEN ME.I WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER OBGYN AS LONG AS HE IS PRACTICING!!!!

I really like Dr. Samman. He has been my doctor for years. He is very patient, thorough and explains everything, even if you have questions about other medical issues not relating to ob/gyn.
