Doc Samuel came in when Dr Mark Cook sold his practice and Dr Samuels told me he didn't know what was wrong with me But if he couldn't help me he would get me to someone who could.....I got LUCKY and was hospitalized when Paul Brundage was on call and Dr B got me to Vanderbilt and saved my life and helped me improve my quality of Life Forever Grateful for Dr Paul Brundage

Dr. Samuel is incredible! He took my issues seriously when I had been passed off by another GI doctor in the past. After I ended up the ER, he was contacted by the attending physician and was able to squeeze me into an appointment slot the very day. He was quick to order testing and thoroughly investigated the problems that I was having. My procedure was done in office and was such a breeze. He was professional but also humorous with great bedside manner. He took time to address my concerns and help come up with a game plan that I trust after the testing results came back. He was quick to refer to an additional specialist to make sure that any issues that could possibly be outside of the GI scope were also addressed. I will always highly recommend him and regret wasting time on traveling outside of Cleveland in search of good care when the best of the best is right here. Also, every nurse that I encountered was so wonderful, upbeat, and understanding. The anesthesiologist that… helped with my procedure snd the nurse anesthetist were also wonderful. Just overall as great of an experience as one could have with GI concerns.

For your sanity, do not go to Dr. Samuel. I believe I was one of his youngest patients, and I was diagnosed with IBD. He treated me like I was a 50 year old with heart burn. He never explained things to me or looked me in the eye. I had no idea what was wrong with me, and it took me a year to get diagnosed and start medication. Even know I’m not familiar with my disease. Not to mention, I am still sickly. I will say the nurses are wonderful people, but why they work under Dr. Samuel I don’t understand. He was difficult to get in touch with and dragged his feet to respond. He never explained anything, and I left there in tears and confusion more than once. I am worried the reason I got sicker is because Dr. Samuel was not aggressive and did not take me seriously. Please do not go to him. Go to Chattanooga or Knoxville if you have to, but if you see Dr. Samuel, do not expect compassion or results.

I have been a patient for 9 years or more. I have always been treated with honesty and respect. He and Logan are always on top of trying to find out what my problem is. If I call I always get returned calls. I have had test done there so much better than hospital or out patient. I appreciate their concern for my health. I would highly recommend both Dr. Samuel and Logan. Love their staff they are the best. I do sometime think it takes to long to get appointment if I have to change one. And sometimes the receptionists are not as friendly as you would like but never rude.

He exudes clinical proficiency and excellence all the while remaining human. A trust well - placed.
