Dr. George David Santos, MD

5 stars for being someone I could work with, for being compassionate, for listening and asking/ answering questions in a respectful way, for not making me feel rushed and for not pushing lots of meds. He's someone I would recommend to a friend who needed help.

I came in as a new patient recently and was surprised to see how nice his office was. That was about the only thing I liked about the whole situation. He only spent about 30 minutes with me as a new patient. I may be just a maintenance case (not starting new medication), but still give me what I pay for man...the entire time he was either asking me questions, staring out the window, or rubbing his crotch. Seriously stay away from this guy. I'm finding another psychiatrist that is willing to hear you out and isn't so blatantly arrogant.

Dr. Santos took the time to get to know me, not just my symptoms. I am the owner of several chemical deficiencies in my brain, and his analysis and subsequent treatment opened my eyes to a world I never knew existed. He is a board certified psychiatrist, not a therapist. Do not expect him to fill both roles. I did not even think of seeing a psychiatrist until I had spent half a year in weekly therapy. Without his help I would still be lost. He has always been courteous, professional and very direct. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. People calling him arrogant are completely off base. Him telling me to get to the point because I’m rambling is not a sign he is arrogant and unwilling to listen, it’s a sign I’m rambling and need to get to the point. I did not expect him to tell me everything will be ok, I expected a proper treatment regimen and that is exactly what I got.

Frankly I think rude and arrogant is understating it. Narcissistic Personality Disorder might be closer to the mark. His diagnosis of a loved one was laughably, dangerously wrong. Thankfully we’ve found competent, compassionate, professional support and the stability and joy my loved one deserves. I find it deeply disturbing that vulnerable people are in this man’s care.

Do not waste your time and money. He’s arrogant, unkind, and should be disciplined judging the number of negative reviews he has racked up on the web along with mine.

It’s been four months waiting for this doctor to prepare and send a second opinion. So, he got his money and now I get the run around from the receptionist telling us for two weeks now “the report will be submitted at the end of the week” / “all I can do is send him a message reminding him and asking to respond”. Neat. Such expedient billing but the second opinion is in ‘limbo’. I would suggest a different doctor, one that can actually follow through with things.

Very professional. Listened and explained everything I had questions about. Seems compassionate.

Dr santos has been. Verry friendly and helpful , quickly and accurately addressing my problem, he is to the point . Wait times are minimal and I do recommend him.
