George J. Sheehan, D.D.S.
Dr. Sheehan and his wife Eileen have been married since 1971. They have two children, Brian and Erin. Brian and his wife Tanya have two children, William and Jack. Erin is engaged to Christopher. George and Eileen reside in Oyster Bay. Shortly after graduating high school, Dr. Sheehan spent two years in the US Army, one year as an infantryman in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He also spent fifteen years as a NYC Fireman. During his time on the FDNY he received his BS degree in Sociology and then attended Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1982. He then joined the Pellonis and Dr. Cerrato in 1985.
Dr. Sheehan has been on the Nassau County Dental Societys Board of Directors for more than twenty years. He served as Chair of Membership and on the Budget and Finance Committee. He has served as a Village trustee in Oyster Bay Cove for ten years and is also the Police Commissioner for his village. He has been the …treasurer for the Youth and Family Counseling Agency of Oyster Bay / East Norwich for six years. In March of 2010 he was installed as President of a national dental group -- The American Academy of Dental Practise Administration.  Dr. Sheehan enjoys running, playing soccer, kayaking and of course his grandchildren.

Linda has been dedicated to this practice for 39 years. She has been here since the Pellonis were here, and she continues to provide excellent care and compassion to our patients. Linda is one of a kind, and we are truly lucky to have her. She comments: “I've seen a lot of changes, all for the better. I truly think the greatest part of our success is that we like who we work with, and we like who we work for.” She adds, “Retire? Not yet.”
