George saved my life in 1999. I had a major heart attack and was flown to Memphis. He opened several arteries and implanted stents. I went into cardiogenic shock during the night. He knew how critical I was and did not leave the hospital; consequently implanted an assist device which saved my life. George is simply the finest.

Dr Smith is by far the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever had. I fully trust this man, he does not seem to see a clock when he is with you...as he spends time and explains EVERYTHING ! Great job Dr Smith!

Dr. Smith performed stent surgery on my husband during a heart attack and saved his life. His bedside manner is beyond outstanding. He took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions. Dr. Smith has a special quality about him that cannot be taught in medical school. We will follow him wherever he goes for all our cardiac needs!

Dr. George Smith was my husband's cardiologist in Memphis. He was absolutely the best! He was one of the first if not the first doctor in the area to perform stent surgery. He is an amazing physician. We miss him in Tennessee.
