Dr. George J So, MD

George J. So, MD, MSE received his medical training at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He continued his internal medicine internship at Cedar Sinai Medical Center and his radiology residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center where he was elected as Chief Resident. Dr. So is board certified and is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. He is also fellowship trained at the University of California, Los Angeles in both neuroradiology, and cardiovascular/interventional radiology. Before his medical training, Dr. So studied electrical engineering and computer engineering; he graduated Summa Cum Laude in both degrees. He has performed extensive research in hardware design and optimization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco and has published numerous original research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr So has co-authored chapters in …medical textbooks and has received research grants from the National Institute of Health.
