Dr. Sorensen performed the surgery and it went well. If that was all that was needed for bariatric care, he'd be perfect. Unfortunately, Dr. Sorensen's specialty requires a team approach and that is sorely lacking. The structure is present (rn, excerise specialist, nutritionist, past successful patient (could be peer support), groups but there is very little interest in actually helpful, unless you response to "google based" research to address your diet and exercise needs. Overall, the surgery is one tool that is available to patients during the weight loss journey and you will receive a safe procedure under Dr. Sorensen's care.

If you want your diaper changed and your lollipop when your done maybe he won't be your cup of tea, but if you want a doctor to tell you how it's going to be and how he'll get it done , I've trusted my life in his hands and would so again..

Dr did not provide the expected treatment, horrible bedside manner, and did not seem like he was fit to provide care.
