Dr. Tawfik, is a highly regarded and intellegent Psychiatrist with a wealth of accredited degress in cutting edge studies. He really takes the time to understand you and cares about your well being. Very kind, intelligent, and treats his patients with the upmost regard. You can clearly see that he loves what he does and is most concerns with helping his patients trough what ever it is they are going through. Never thought I would be able to find a psychiatrist I could connect with, however, after my first session with Dr. Tawfik, I will never go to anyone else.

Ive been seeing him off and on for a long time. Hes extremely knowlegeable about the profession. If your looking for a person to vent to he wont overwhelm you with compassion. If your looking for someone that knows the "science" behind behavior, hes quite well versed and up to date on recent studies. Also , in regards to a prior review about his accessibility, ive found him to be exceptional when it comes time to need an appointment.

He's an okay psych once you get to see him. Two problems - 1. If you ever need to call him for whatever reason, don't expect a response. 2. Be prepared to sometimes wait up to a half hour or more.
