Dr. George Sawday Tellam, MD

I received exceptional surgical and post-operative care for a bunionectomy, tailors bunionectomy, and mid-foot fusion. Dr. Sorensen performed the procedure and takes great pride in his work. The outcome could not have been any better. Also, my interactions with Dr. Tellam and the rest of the staff were exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sorensen or Dr. Tellam to my family and friends.

Dr. George Tellam is a brilliant Podiatrist, surgeon and top of his field. I researched and used his surgical skills in 1994, his advice over the years for different problems and recently needed a surgery that relieved trapped nerve pressure, in 2020. Informative and personable, he thoroughly shares with his patients. Office staff are professional, courteous and helpful.

He is wonderful and the people that work there!! Very polite and accommodating. My 12 year old was scared and they made her feel so comfortable before and through out the procedure. The office is very clean!! I looked for a good Podiatrist and I found him!! Could not ask for a better staff and doctor!!!

I feel a thousand times better since I visited Dr.Tellam. I know as long as I do what I’m told I’ll be ok. I will continue to come back when needed. I went to the office barely able to walk to leaving still sore but once I got the inserts and my new shoes and the shot started working. So I’d say that’s excellent progress. Very impressed with the care I got and will continue to get.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tellam for over a year now and I can honestly say I am very pleased with the care I receive from his Kingsley avenue office. I haven't had an opportunity to meet all of the staff at this location but those that I have were very cordial and attentive to my needs. Dr Tellam Has performed two surgeries on me and in both cases I have been well taken care of!

My foot has been butchered buy his surgery as he cut bones way to short and disfigured it. I will now go through a third surgery at Mayo clinic just to obtain relief as it is I repairable!

I don't feel that his staff is very forth coming when it comes to what your out of pocket expenses are once insurance pays. For the staff to tell me that they don't know what our insurance will pay is ridiculous, I've done billing for over 20 years and I've called the insurance companies to get an estimate of what the patient's out of pocket would be or a predetermination of benefits. We were told that we would receive 3 bills after surgery is done, one for Dr. Tellam, one for the facility and one for the anesthesiologist. We received a bill for over $250.00 for a screw that Dr. Tellam placed in my husbands foot from Implantable Device Group. Who the heck are they? As far as Dr. Tellam, he is a great podiatrist. I don't know if my husband would go back to him after all this.
