Dr. George Adam Vascellaro, DO

When Dr. Vascellaro was in Blanchard, Ok he was my Doctor. He was great. He was very detailed with explaining things to you re: your condition. He is professional with a compassionate quality for his patience. Wish he was still there.

My Sons goes to his Doctors appointment like he does every month for the past three years. Then one day Dr, Vascellaro walks into the room and says your fired, he then said that there was percocet in my urine test and told me to leave I told him I never take Percocet ,He refused to listen. So I left and had a test done by a licensed facility the same day. and it came up negative. He still refused to see me. So, whats going on here is this maybe what he does to people he dont like? Maybe this guy needs to be reported to the medical board.

You will be waiting a long time, he will enter the room and look at the computer records and that's all. You'll have to repeat a problem over a period of several months before he will acknowledge it and even consider it. He has poor manners and will judge you very harshly. He will give the facial expressions that show how much he dislikes you, unless you are a woman. He flirts with his nurses and I even once witnessed him grab a pregnant nurse on the bottom while she was walking in and he was leaving the exam room. He has the potential to be a good Dr. but he will ultimately begin to judge you over time and start to treat you like he despises you. He does not care if you have pain, he just follows routine. If you have a choice, I suggest avoiding him at all costs. He also once got my medical records mixed up with someone else and was asking how my Percocets have been helping. I informed him that he doesn't prescribe percocet to me. He had to look at my urine test to confirm that… I was right. The following month he then said that there WAS percocet in my urine test and told me to leave but that I could still see him for my blood pressure "If you wanted." When I tried to ask him how this could be possible he just said "You took them." and left the room. I made him re-test and it was the same. I knew I never took any percocet so I remained calm and left. I went straight to a well known drug testing facility in Oklahoma City within a couple of hours of hearing of his bogus test results. I just today received my test results from that facility and they assured me that I did NOT have any percocet or oxycodone in my system. I was relieved, because I thought Dr Vascellaro would now see that I wasn't some drug addict who was lying to keep his habit. I was telling the truth. I expected an apology. Instead I received a call from a nurse telling me he saw my new results and refuses to accept them. Even though I paid top dollar to have the test done myself at a licensed facility. I informed the nurse that I felt he was trying to get rid of me as a patient since that could be the only reason he was doing this. She told me I was crazy. Again, I was as polite as can be. I'm a very quiet person, and can remain very calm. I asked her why else would he refuse to accept a test I had done the SAME day as his test tand only a few hours apart. She had no answer. I'm Native American and do not have insurance, he is a doctor at a Native American Clinic. Although they DO ask all the time if I have insurance, I've always said no, because I never had any reason to get any because the NA Doctors did a good enough job for me. Now I feel like this whole time I've been going to the barber college of clinics, and they gave me the rookie barber just to laugh at how bad your service is. I fully intend to tell my story to the higher ups so that he cannot so easily get away with this in the future when another patient says they were treated the same way. Thank you for reading my review. I stand by it fully, and would take a lie detector test if needed to prove that I never took any medication that Dr. Vascellaro did not prescribe to me himself. After all of this, I would give 0 stars if it were possible to do.

I highly recommend using him. He has a been able to determine the root cause of many of my medical issues that many other doctors couldn't seem to resolve.
