The radiologist Vakencherry made it sound like he was an expert on everything, but it turned into a nightmare and he caused all kinds of bleeding internally, and we were shocked that he ruined our grandfather who was pretty healthy before; this guy is infatuated with himself (guessing he’s divorced bc of his ego), he kept talking endlessly and made all kinds of excuses. The other doctors we met with said that basically a vessel got torn by radiology: would avoid this egomaniac and go to another competent one, don’t gamble with your loved ones lives.

The radiologist Vakencherry caused all kinds of bleeding internally and our grandfather died then the first thing that doctor did was make all kinds of excuses even though the other doctors at Kaiser said it was a vessel getting torn by radiology: would avoid that radiologist and go to another competent one.

Dr Vatakencherry is very professional and knowledgeable in the IR field. I initially met him prior to scheduling my medical procedure called Uterine Artery Embolization. This was to treat a 7cm uterine fibroid (Myoma) He was polite and answered all my questions. The day of UAE came by July 19th 2023. All Kaiser staff treated me and prepped me very well prior to going into the OP room. I was very relaxed and confident with Dr Vatakencherry and nurses. I am now two weeks Post UAE (can’t call it surgery because it’s not) and I am feeling very good so far. Recovery time is two weeks, so trust the process and be patient. Take all meds prescribed as directed to avoid any pain or other symptoms. I have a follow up within 6-weeks. Looking forward to my appointment. Thank you all!

Dr. Vatakencherry (Kaiser - Sunset L.A.) performed my uterine artery embolization procedure. I had many concerns as I never had any previous med. intervention. At my initial consultation, he reviewed all other possible options again although it had been determined by gyn already that I was to have UAE. This made me more at ease as he was ensuring that UAE was the right course. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all questions. Kaiser's email system was also an excellent feature as it allowed me ease of contact with Dr. V after my procedure. He was consistently very prompt with responses, follow up, and addressed all my concerns. My procedure time was 1 hr vs the estimated 1.5 hrs. In addition to his medical expertise, I appreciate the empathy in providing care which is often overlooked but highly important to the patient. Through my own personal experience, I would recommend Dr. V to my friends considering this procedure.

Because Dr. Vatakencherry reviewed my husband's records so thoroughly the stent procedure that was scheduled to take 6-8 hours took him 3 1/2, this was critical as my husband had just had by-pass surgery. This young man is one of the finest doctors I've ever encountered and three years later our family is still singing his praises. My husband, because of Dr. Vatakencherry has spent three high quality, productive years with our family. From hiking the Navajo trail in Bryce Canyon to teaching 6 year olds to play chess, it's been an active three years that we would not have had without the skills and devotion of Dr. Vatakencherry! Four stars??? doesn't begin to cover it!!!
