Dr. George Edwin Von Hilsheimer, MD

I was told a 1/4" freckle on front right shin was melanoma. Being gullible and not asking for lab results 'upfront', I allowed Dr. V. to do office surgery to cut it out. He cut a 5" gash sideways and now there is no fat, but a painful pure skin over bone area. He left an unsightly scar that I asked numerous times for him to do something about that he kept avoiding and ignoring me about. Very upset about service.

Really cares about his patients. Your not just a number or a $ sign.

For 10+ years, I saw a dermatologist in the local area. I watched his interest in his practice fizzle and burn out. It was very difficult to search for a new MD, but once I found "Dr George", it has proven to be one of the wisest healthcare decisions I have ever made. His knowledge and work experience are top notch; and he has a great sense of humor. I should have made the move to his practice years ago!!

Dr. vonHilsheimer is a great, American, doctor. He's a no-nonsense sort of person who listens to you, and is great to work with.

I went into their Ft. Walton Beach clinic for what was frankly an embarrassing skin condition (to me, at least). The staff, and Dr. vonHilsheimer especially, were very professional, which I appreciated. It only took a few minutes to diagnose my condition and prescribe the appropriate medicine. In a few days I was all cleared up and feeling good again. I can't rate them on a follow up, because I didn't need a follow up. Otherwise, I was very pleased and will go back!
