Dr. George M. Wahba, MD

I saw Dr. Wahba today and I've never had such a bad experience with a "medical professional" prior to now. His bedside manner is appalling and his lack of consideration for patients is downright disgusting. He spoke the entire 5 minutes he saw me and didn't once listen to what I had to say. When I finally cut him off to voice my concerns regarding lack of mobility and pain levels, he stood up, told me to have a good day and walked out the door. I will be getting a second opinion (this was the first and only surgeon I've seen) and I will be filing a complaint with the office, dignity health AND the medical board. If you truly need medical care and need nothing more than to get back to your normal life, do not waste your time in his office. If I could upload my MRI results to show the severity of my spinal damage, I would, just to publicly prove his negligence. My father always told me you can tell a lot about a man by his handshake. I should have walked right out the moment he handed me… his limp hand minus the actual shake.

I can live a normal life again!

Dr. Wahba is an amazing orthopedic back surgeon! He is honest, caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his specialty. I had several issues with my lumbar back, several bulging discs, flattened discs, ruptured a disc at work, bone spurs, and arthritis. I couldn’t drive and was losing the use of my legs and I was in constant pain....over 20, 24/7. I was afraid I would not ever walk again and the pain was debilitating. My fear of not being able to walk overcame my fear of surgery. I took a leap of faith and trusted the reviews of all of the people that Dr. Wahba has helped live a better quality of life. I am so glad that I did! I can now walk while wearing a back brace and my constant pain of over 20 is now 2-10, depending on if I did too much that day. I still have almost a year for the bone grafts to heal, but I am already so grateful and happy with the results and just excited for continued improvement. I can never thank Dr. Wahba and his team enough for how he… has improved the quality of my life! He is awesome!!! Thank you Dr. Wahba!!!??????????

I am foretunate I was able to find Dr. Wahba. I have suffered from a debilitated back for some time, trying all options but surgery. After xrays, an MRI a few visits to Dr. Wahba and some attempts at physical therapy, I finally concluded I wasn't going to get better without surgery. Dr. Wahba was never quick to rush me into surgery. After finally deciding to schedule surgery to lift bone off of crushed nerves, I could not have been more impressed and confident in my decision because of him. Dr. Wahba is a straight shooter when talking with you. His office and staff could not be more friendly and helpful (thanks to Jan and Christina and the others!). I would highly recommend Dr. George Wahba for spine and orthopedic repair

Screwed up my back around the holidays, barely able to walk, hunched over, numb legs/feet, pain level 8 or 9... you know the drill if you're reading this. Consulted with Dr Wahba who was able to get me scheduled very quickly for surgery. Now, he did "manage expectations" and tell me I may still experience pain or not feel better, but when I woke up from surgery, I felt NO PAIN. I went from an 8 to a ZERO in pain in like an hour. Your results may vary but Dr. Wahba is a frickin master when it comes to backs. I didn't even need my pain pills. If you have a choice, pick Wahba. He knows his stuff.

I'm currently a patient of Dr.Wahead so far I'm completely satisfied with his professional services I'm going to have surgery in about 10 days I'm having lower back problems causing leg pain so as of now I would recommend Dr.Wahba to top anyone needing back or spine treatment and surgery I'll rate him again ...I'm sure it should be good..... prayers to all :-)

I lived for 2 years with chronic lower back pain. I thought my love for life had ended. The pain in my lower back and legs made it hard for me to stand up and walk. After meeting with Dr. Wahba, he gave me hope again! I had surgery done and when I woke up in the recovery room, I felt that my pain level dropped from 10+ to a 3. I could not wait to see how I would feel in 6 weeks! It's been 2 months since my back surgery and I have 0 pain! I'm loving my life again!! Thank you, Dr. Wahba for making me feel like a brand new person. You rock!! =)

I had left leg pain progressively over 4 months getting to the point I could not function at work much less at home. Dr. wahba after examining my MRI explained to me the severity of my L5 disc herniation and the pinched nerve. I had less than 15% chance of recovery and would possibly suffer permanent nerve damage if I didn't have surgery. This is usually his last resort but I had already been to therapy and discussed pain management. He and his staff were all very personable at the office and the hospital. they performed my surgery on Christmas eve and I couldn't have asked for a better gift. after a short nap at home I was able to enjoy our traditional dinner. I had no leg pain what so ever since and my back has healed, I am regaining my strength and mobility. I am so blessed to have met this man and his staff who took great care of me. Please, if you have any orthopedic issues, do not hesitate to see them at mercy southwest. Dr. Wahba is the best.

After almost a year of pain in my sciatica and going to pain management, nerve ending, chiropractor, massages, physical therapy, I had six injections and received NO relief. I was than referred to Dr. Wahba's office. His office staff was very helpful, I didn't have to wait a long time to see him and was finally able to have someone diagnose what my problem was. I had a pinched nerve in my back. The surgery was a huge success and I do NOT have any more pain. I will admit, the first couple weeks were very painful in my back, I was warned about that so I just made the best of it. The end result has been Terrific and I would recommend Dr. Wahba to anyone. In fact, I have already referred him to one of my neighbors. Everyone at the hospital was very nice and helpful also. Dr. Wahba has very good bedside manners and explains everything to you and answers all questions. For a first or second opinion I would highly recommend Dr. Wahba. You cannot go wrong!!!

I can't brag enough about Dr. Wahba. He fixed what other said they couldn't. I couldn't sit, stand or live a real life of any kind. Since my surgery I can now do all the thing normal people do...I get to shop again yahoooo! After only 3 months I was pain free and am now completely medication free after being on them for over 13 years. I can't say enough good stuff about Dr. Wahba. I highly recommend him. He's patient , loving, and genuinely cares for his patients. His staff made me feel like I was family. I never waited and was always met with patience and kindness. There is hope after all other Dr's tell you there isn't and Dr. Wahba is your hope.
