Dr. George Robert Webber, MD

Four years ago Dr. Webber performed a partial mastectomy for me. Great results. Excellent communication and follow up. Last year cancer returned and he performed a total mastectomy. What a difference! I hardly saw him after the surgery. Never in my follow- up office visits. His superior nurse, Laura did everything. He was great in his prime, but should have retired several years ago.

I had a a bilateral mastectomy with terrible results. My drains were pulled too soon and another surgeon had to use ultrasound to to drain the fluid off me for 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor for surgery at all. I also scarred terribly!

This Dr. Webber reminded me of the movie Patch with Robin Williams funny caring . I was so happy upon consult.Things quickly changed when I arrived for surgery. I ask him to contact my pain specialists that he was waiting for his call to treat pain after surgery. He quickly told me he was not calling him and his patient's have no pain can't feel anything for seven hours. I woke up in recovery in the worst pain a 10 out 10 I was crying shaking he not only never came back to see me refused any medication. Told my family I was emotional wreck cut them off in mid sentence. Shocked my family being a trauma rn for 30 years. I plead for anyone to please think twice before ever obtaining his services.. I have had many surgery never have I been treated like this. I have first class health insurance not that it should matter. Please think about this he dismissed me and my medical professionals as if he was God..

Dr. Webber at KCBC is too old to be doing breast cancer surgery. Dr. Webber is careless in a lot of areas and presents a face of being such a wonderful caring person. If you really think Dr. Webber knows your actual tumor information, get a copy of your path report and ask him specific questions. Wait and see if he doesn't sit with the deer in the headlights look on his face. If you are considering using KCBC and Dr. Webber you may want to be very updated on what all kinds of tests your tumor needs. Dr. Webber is a "half asser" out of date doctor. My personal opinion is to go somewhere else. I don't know who they use for oncologist now but you need to find that out as well. My personal opinion is Dr. Webber calls the shots how he wants to do things. KCBC if they wish to continue to have a surgeon they need to look in to getting a more updated and skilled surgeon. This comment isn't about Webber but rather about the breast center. A few years ago a friend went to KCBC… for a mammogram and ultra sound. The mammogram tech had recently been hired and was from out of state. She had no idea how to use the equipment and took my friend to another room and spent a few minutes giving the impression of ultrasound then took her back to her original room. I don't know if thee was an actual ultrasound done or not and if she was taken to the other room was the ultrasound that was read did it belong to someone else. I understand a lot of people think this false face place is almighty but cancer can be a matter of life or death so with that said for your own good do not waste your time with outdated, ,needs to retire Dr. Webber. There a way too many skilled and up to date doctors for cancer.

Dr Webber is an amazing Doctor and I do appreciate his humor and kindness. He provided me with options and lots of information. Lora, his nurse, is top notch! I'm so thankful to have them as my breast cancer care team!
