Dr. Weiss Is AWESOME. Great surgeon. He really takes good care of his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Weiss is an incredible surgeon. He is personable and professional. He takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on and what is going to happen next. He spends hours with you pre-operatively to make sure you understand how your life and eating habits will change. He visits with you while you're in the hospital and he truly cares about you as a person. I couldn't be happier with him as my doctor. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Weiss changed my entire world. After reading about him and meeting him and hearing all the praise and good words from past patients and the nursing staff at Central Baptist hospital in Lexington, I would not have trusted anyone else with my surgery. He made me feel comfortable in my decision. He was very thorough in the seminar and he was very direct. He listened to my concerns and my needs. He allowed me the time to ask any question I had about my health. I would recommend not only the surgery but having Dr. Weiss as your surgeon. It's something you will not regret.

My wife had the bariatric sleeve procedure performed by Dr. Wiess. She has had 7 more procedures since and she still cannot eat or drink. She is in a constant state of nausea. Please, seek other options

My husband is on his death bed because of Mr Weiss who calls himself a dr. He told me when doing pre op he thought he had cancer. The biopsies came back ok so he said I’m so sure it’s cancer, I’m going to to biopsies again. He told me those were ok to. He then forgot about my husband instead of saying let’s do a pet scan which at the time I knew nothing about. I know all about it now. That and feeding tubes, long hospital stays. It’s been a nightmare. He’s on his deathbed now and we have a son at home watching his daddy die because of me weiss’s negligience!

This Dr is amazing

Dr. Weiss was rude and arrogant to me during my time with him. I would not recommend him.

Some people don't like Weiss because he's blunt, but trust me, I grew up with doctors and blunt is what you absolutely need...sugarcoating endangers your life. He's a gifted surgeon. His patient morbidity rate is almost nil, with a patient cohort that has some dangerous complication potential. Surgical expertise and ability is what he has- but he won't shine you on about the risks OR the benefits.

This is in my opinion the MOST competent and THOROUGH surgeon I have EVER had the pleasure of entrusting my health to. He made this process so easy and effective and put my mind at ease as well as bringing healing to my body. I will forever be indebted for what he has allowed me to experience in my life. I am doing things now I never dreamed again possible. My eternal gratitude.

This man is the most hateful and non-caring doctor I have ever come into contact with. I have seen this 'man' one time since my surgery. I have had severe complications and complained for months to his physician assistant and nothing was ever done. Dr. Weiss has had no interest in helping to find out what is wrong with me. When I asked his PA if I could see dr. Weiss, I was told 'he's a surgeon, he doest see patients'. He is arrogant and has absolutely no bedside manner. I would NEVER recommend dr. Weiss...not even to the devil himself.
