George Wennerberg JR., MD

George Wennerberg, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who provides primary care services for men’s and women’s health, acute and chronic disease management, preventive care, annual physicals, flu shots and immunizations, and sick and well visits. Dr. Wennerberg has over a dozen years of experience in medicine, including primary care, internal medicine residency leadership and military medical service. He has practiced with Vitruvian Health in Ooltewah, Tennessee, Intermountain Health in Park City, Utah and Cherokee Nation Health System in Jay and Tahlequah, Oklahoma. His background also includes service as a U.S. Army general medical officer at Fort Polk, Louisiana and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Dr. Wennerberg earned his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He completed a transitional internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and an internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada, Reno, …where he served as chief resident. His faith and desire to serve others helped lead him to medicine. Dr. Wennerberg is committed to building strong patient relationships and helping each person feel heard, valued and understood.
